How can I preserve or create thumbnails for batch-converted TIFF files?

I have a large number of JPEG images that I need to batch-convert to TIFF for use in Photoshop. The conversion itself works fine, but I would like Photoshop to display thumbnails/previews for the resulting TIFF files.

Is there a Photoshop setting or batch-processing method that will automatically create and save the thumbnail/preview information in the TIFF files? I would prefer not to open and save each image individually.

Any advice on the ac correct workflow would be appreciated.

Adobe Bridge supports thumbnail previews and much more…

I also have SageThumbs shell for Windows File Explorer to display previews of PSD, TIFF, RAW and many others....

Hope that helps.
