Our father was passed away. Payment Problem.

Hello everyone!

I don't understand why customer service of Adobe Stock is real trouble. They do not offer accountable answers to any of our questions. Every time connecting with them gives us headache.

So we really appreciate if someone helps us. Our issue goes like this:

My father was an Adobe Stock Contributor. He passed away on 13th February 2024. As his hiers, we would like to use his account and add new stock images to his Adobe Stock account. He got the payment through his payooner account which is connected to his account. However, it is not eligible for us to use his payonner account.

Since we would like to get the payment, how can deal with this issue? I mean, what should we do to get the payment that arise from selling new stock images?

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

This is much more complicated than just obtaining a password to your father's account. There are legal issues surrounding inheritance of copyright to the intellectual property that is represented in your father's portfolio.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Your father's portfolio belongs to his Estate now.  Contact your legal representative for details on how you must proceed.  Adobe can't interact with you without proper documents to prove you have the legal authority to act on behalf of your father's Estate.

It's highly likely that your father's Stock account will be closed.  And Royalty Fees, if any, will be paid directly to the Estate.

If you wish, you may create a new Stock Account in your name and Tax ID for your own creations. But you cannot submit content created by other artists including your father.   See submission requirements below.

I hope that helps.  Good luck.

If you have his contributor login credentials you can accsess his account and change the payout options. In any cas, you should use the "contact-us" link at the bottom of the dashboard page.

If not, contact "cotributor-support@adobe.com". Only they can assist you.

The e-mail is incorrect, but I assume that @elk1396e has access to the account. So @elk1396e should contact contributor support as indicated by @Jill_C and provide all the necessary proof.

@elk1396e,

Customer support is for customers, so people buying services from Adobe. Contributor support is for contributors, so people providing assets to the Adobe stock database.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
