your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated

I've written to the support, but after 3 weeks there is no answer (I can't find any reason). They blocked me when I ordered 1st payment - so be aware people.

It seems that many new accounts are temporarily suspended for review following the first request for payout. This step became necessary after so many suspicious sales schemes were used to falsely inflate sales. If there are no such sales in your account, it will be unblocked after the review is concluded.

Hello everyone,

My name is Ali Sher and my Adobe Stock contributor account has been blocked due to a terms violation. I need help and advice from this community.

My account history is strong and genuine — I have 93 total sales, 146 videos, 160 photos and illustrations uploaded, and 2 successful payouts already received. I also have $40 in pending earnings which is above the $25 minimum payout threshold. At the time of the block, I had 69 videos still in pending status.

After reviewing the guidelines, I believe the issue was that some of my videos had incorrect keywords — I used technical terms like "HD" and "4K" as keywords which I now understand is not allowed. This was an honest mistake with no intention to violate any rules.

I submitted my official appeal on March 23, 2025 and it has now been 13 days with no response.

My questions:

Has anyone had their account restored after a similar terms violation?

How long did Adobe take to respond to your appeal?

Can I still receive my $40 pending earnings even if account stays closed?

Thank you! — Ali Sher

Keywords like HD and 4K do not result in deactivation - they are quite normal.

My Adobe Stock contributor account has been deactivated. Is it blocked or can it be activated again?

Respond to the Contact Us link and ask for details. Your account will be unblocked if they find during their investigation you have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions, or that they can be corrected going forward if a violation has occurred. See Nancy O'Shea's response below for a list of potential violations.

Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity.
2) Content spamming or fraud.
3) Receipt of an official infringement complaint or "take down" notice.
4) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms.

Contact Stock Contributor Support: https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/contact

Be patient. An account audit could take awhile. Check your email spam folder for a reply.  If requested, provide additional information. Meanwhile work on other projects. Feel free to submit content to other stock services.

Good luck.

My account is also de-activated approx. 2 weeks ago. I wrote to contact us, but there is no any answer. I have 60dollars in my account also. I dont have good feelings about their potential answer but this process is waste of time.

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

Today my account was blocked for no reason. They wrote "Dear contributor, your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated. Please see your email for more information or Contact us. But the letter did not arrive. I did not use AI at all. I did everything manually in 3D or video footage in Davinci. In what is the reason, why and why they don’t say. I read the comments above and understand that I’m not the only one who was given a ban and was not explained why.

Has your issue been resolved? I am experiencing the same problem, and this isn't my first withdrawal request. I regularly make withdrawals, and this is the first time I've encountered such an issue.

Even though I tried to contact with them using 'Contact Us' option, I couldn't get any reply.

I've asked for several payments, and I didn't get blocked. But when your ask for payment and there are suspicious activities you get blocked. That's standard. Then, there is an investigation, and if the suspicious activity is not related to you, then your account gets unblocked.

I think there's more here that you're not telling us.

Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity,
2) They received an infringement complaint or "take down" notice from a 3rd party,
3) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms.

  • Stock receives hundreds of inquiries. Customer's come first.
  • It could take several weeks to complete the investigation.  Check your email spam folder.
  • Be patient & cooperate if they ask for more details.
  • Work on other projects. Submit work to other microstock services if you wish.

Good luck.
