Cross-Product Creative Challenge #5: The Future of HR!

In my narrative, the AI robots are the assistants hired to help the artist. Their job description includes prepping the surfaces, fetching the tools, mixing the paint, offering advice, and of course, cleaning up afterwards! As the artist contemplates his design, the robots look at each other seemingly uncertain about the design and what sentience truly means.

After fleshing out my idea for this comp, I generated "stock images" that I could use to create rough composites in Photoshop. I used Adobe Color to brainstorm ideas for the color palette and Adobe Fonts to figure out the typeface to use in the design.

I went through several iterations of the composite until I settled on one that I thought was strong and aesthetically pleasing. It was constructed in Photoshop. The final tweaks were done with Camera Raw to punch up the colors, brightness and contrast.

In a human-less future maybe robots will be more like humans?

The process is Firefly, Photoshop and then feed the updated image back to firefly.

I kept getting white robots with the Firefly model, so I switched Firefly to use the GPT Image model to get the base image of the robot janitor.

I brought the image into Photoshop. I tried changing his face, but I never got anything that really matched his style. So I kept the GPT Image model face.

The scene was more daytime, so I darkened the windows. I wanted to spotlight the janitor and make it seem like he was alone in an empty building, so I used some layer masks, applied some color overlays, and added a Curves adjustment layer.

I also added a little vignette to darken up the corners.

On the internet nobody knows you're a dog

These were two generated images in Firefly. In order to get the same vibe in the vacuum robot part, I had to use the cats as a style reference, but then Firefly added cats to it. I retouched them in Photoshop, added the text and combined the two panels.
