Firefly won't accept my image

Firefly keeps stating that my graphic illustration of a Graffiti teddy bear violates the Adobe user guidelines and I don't see how. I am unable to generate my video with my original work because Adobe won't be specific with the issue or offer a way to contact someone to fix my issue. I would like someone to help me figure this out and see how maybe Adobe can loosen up their grip a little when it comes to thier gaurds.

A teddy bear with stitches and graffiti art is not animal cruelty if that's what they are going for with my image. lol

Hi Doc_K,

Thanks for sharing your experience.

We understand why this feels confusing, especially since you’re using legitimate Adobe Stock images.

In this case, what you’re encountering isn’t related to whether the source image is allowed or licensed (Adobe Stock images are absolutely fine to use), but rather how content involving children or minors is handled during generation.

Firefly applies additional safety protections whenever children are involved, even in non-sensitive or everyday scenarios (such as a parent and child standing together). These safeguards are designed to prevent any potential misuse and are applied consistently across all inputs, regardless of their source.

Because of this, some prompts or generations that include adults and children together may be flagged or restricted, even when the intent is completely harmless.

This behavior has been discussed in more detail in this thread.

If you’d like to continue working on your concept, you may need to slightly adjust the prompt to avoid direct references to minors.

We appreciate your understanding, these measures are in place to ensure the technology is used safely and responsibly. Let us know if you have any other questions!

I am experiencing similar censorship with images of a dad and daughter standing next to each other. These images were originally Adobe stock images. Nothing in the user guidelines states that Adobe stock images can’t be used or that I can’t use an image of a dad and daughter standing next to each other.

Hello @jonathan_5430,

Thank you for your message.

Can you please upload the image you are using as the keyframe so we can test with it?  Please also tell us the prompt you are using.

Thanks,
