Question

New UI is horrible

Title: Please Restore Full-Size Image Preview in Generation History

The new Adobe Firefly interface is a major downgrade in usability.

Previously, I could browse my Generation History, click an image, and view it at full size. Now, clicking an image opens it in edit mode. I cannot simply inspect my own creations at full resolution without downloading them first.

This is an unnecessarily frustrating workflow for users who generate large numbers of images. I want to browse my work, compare results, and find favorites without being forced into an editing workspace.

The new all-in-one interface has made a basic task much more difficult. Boards also does not work properly in Firefox, forcing me to switch to Chrome.

Please restore a simple full-size image preview in Generation History, with separate options to View Image and Edit Image. Users should also have the option to use the previous, simpler workflow.

Combining tools into one workspace should not mean removing basic functionality or making everyday tasks harder. Please listen to the users who actually use Firefly regularly and give us back a fast, straightforward way to browse our images.

The latest UI update has completely broken the way Generation History works, making it practically unusable for my workflow.

Previously, when I opened an older generation from my history, it would open in the Generation tab. This allowed me to continue working from that generation, adjust the prompt, keep the original reference images, and generate new variations without having to start from scratch.

Now, opening an older video sends me to the Edit Video Clip tab, where I cannot regenerate the video using the original prompt. This is not just a problem with opening items from the history itself. Even when I use the Share Public Link option, the video opens in the Edit Video Clip tab, with no way to return to the original generation workflow.

This completely defeats the purpose of having a generation history.

If I want to create another variation of an older generation, I now have to manually copy and paste the prompt, reload all the reference images, and recreate the entire setup by hand. This is an unnecessary waste of time and completely undermines one of the most important features of a generative AI platform.

Generation History should allow users to return to their original generation setup, including the prompt and reference images, and continue working from there. Opening a previous generation should not lock users into an editing tool that does not allow them to regenerate it.

Please restore the previous functionality or provide a way to reopen historical generations directly in the original Generation tab, with the original prompt and reference images preserved.

There must also be a straightforward way to reuse previous generations as the starting point for new videos and images, rather than being restricted to editing existing clips.

This is a major regression in the user interface, not an improvement. For users who rely on their generation history as part of an ongoing creative workflow, this change makes the feature effectively useless.

There is no path to go from Generation-history to re-using the

Well said and I am happy to see others complaining and letting Adobe know they really screwed up. We need more voices complaining and not useless responses from N8.

Thanks everything in Adobe firefly isn't this order.

You can do this thing in boards but you can't do that in studio but you can do that in the generator video tab

Also Kling 4.0 is apparently only available in the studio user interface and none of the other ones. It is a complete mess. And now they even removed basic functions like just opening a previous generation in the generation history menu.

How about a return to the old interface? I loved using Firefly until about three hours ago (7pm EST on October 27). I can't even see some of the controls. Whoever designed this new interface apparently does not have to use it.

I want the old version back.
