Not sure why my images "violate guidelines" (image depicts children)

I attempted to generate video from two different photos of a man and his mother and a family walking in the woods. Both were immediately rejected. Then I used Firefly to generate an image of a man holding his daughter and tried to use that, but it was also rejected. I've attached these images here. I can find no reason that the system would reject these on a content-level. So any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Hi @Felix3LGato !

Thanks for pointing that out. Firefly currently avoids generating videos from images that include children. This is a careful step to make sure the model handles such content responsibly. We know it can be limiting, but it’s part of ensuring safety as the tool improves.

Thanks

I am trying to generate videos via Veo 3.1 Fast, and it returns errors about user guidelines not being met even though the image start frames are and should be safe where it had no prior problems before or on other video generation sites.

These are the types of images I already generated on other sites as recourse and am having no trouble with other sites. What gives Adobe/Google? The other partner models work but they produce terrible results compared to Veo 3.1 Fast. Not to mention they are uneconomical with credit usage. Please advise.

Hello @TinyAcademyGroup,

Thank you for your message.

I have merged your message into this thread. I am sorry you are having this problem.

The Firefly image to video model will not generate videos from images containing children. That is why it would not generate the videos. This is a limitation in this model.

Actually Firefly video works fine with the image to video (same with the other partner models), just Veo 3.1 Fast as mentioned is not working properly with the starting images. This is problematic because Veo 3.1 Fast is the most reliable and best quality video generations (apart from Kling AI which is not included here). Is there a reason the problem only persists with Veo 3.1 Fast and not other partner models/Firefly?

I am getting the following error: We can't process this prompt because the reference image
doesn't meet our User Guidelines. You can upload another
image and try again.

There is nothing wrong with the image I am using, it was an image I generated using FIrefly! These ridiculously over-sensive filters are a huge barrier to productivity.

I am trying to generate a video with a picture of myself, the video got generated in 16:9 ratio, but when i tried the same in 9:16 ratio, it starting displaying,

'Can't load.
We can't process this prompt because the reference image doesn't meet our User Guidelines. You can upload another image and try again.'
What do I do?
This is the image I'm using.

Hi @Prachi_Jiwnani0081

Thanks for reaching out. Firefly will not use an image that contains a child's image.  The attached image seems to be of a child, and this will give an image violation error. Please check the user guidelineshere.

Let us know if you need additional help.

L'image de référence indique : "Nous ne pouvons pas traiter ce prompt, car l’image de référence
ne respecte pas nos consignes d’utilisation. Vous pouvez charger une autre image et réessayer."

Mais l'image en question est une image des plus ordinaire

Hi @Bureau38317860r60s

Thanks for reaching out. The reference image contains a child, which will be treated as a violation.  Firefly will not use any image containing a child. Here is the link to understand the limitations. Let us know if you need additional help.

I am illustrating a childrens book and I went to animate one of them.

I tried a couple of times using all of my credits in the process before doing some research and finding out because of their policies with children you cannot animate them.

Is there a work around?

Also how do I get a refund for the lost credits.

Thanks

Thanks for your time.

I am trying to use one of MY images the I CREATED to promote MY studio's Santa Experience session by animating on of MY images but Adobe keeps telling me it violates Community Guidelines!!!  Doesn't state what guidelines or how to appeal it!  THIS IS MY IMAGE!!!!  I OWN THE RIGHTS TO IT!!!!!  So why can't I use it?!?!?!?!?  I HATE Adobe guidelines, they are WRONG 90% of the time!!!!!  Maybe if Adobe wasn't filled with preverted minds questioning every little thing a professional photographer is trying to do with THEIR images, it MIGHT work better!!!!!  Why is there not a place for me to sign off on the fact that I OWN the damn Copyright?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This is an EXTREMELY frustraring problem with Firefly image to video that makes it very difficult to use/ enjoy using. In this case I used firefly image to GENERATE a tween girl clapping, then attempted to bring that image created by YOUR enerprise-safe AI into Firefly video to animate her clapping and was told I was violating the user agreement. Please explain to me how an image created within your system to be animated within your system somehow violates its own user agreement?

On two occasions I've uploaded images of artists to create a simple animation from a still photo. One of a boy, and one of a girl. Both are fully clothed, and both images wholly tasteful and clean, yet Firefly rejects them based on user guidelines.

Hello @Randall_Leddy3528,

Thank you for your message.

The Firefly video model has a restriction that it will not generate videos with key frames that contain children. That is a restriction in the model currently.
