P: Firefly Video access issues with organisations on Enterprise or Teams plans

I'm trying to use firefly video generator, but it's not allowing me. Saying the following (see screenshot)

 

(translated from Dutch):

 

''You have no access to this funtion
You can contact your provider to ask for permission.''

Is this a bug, or is the feature legitimately locked for me for some reason?

Firefly video is currently not available on any educational enterprise plan. Adobe has not announced when or if that will change in the future.

I have an account through the university that I worked for, and the video feature of firefly isn't available. Does anybody know why?

Firefly video is currently not available on any educational enterprise plan. Adobe has not announced when or if that will change in the future.

I should have access to Adobe Firefly with my license/subscription; however, when I go to make videos, it says I don't have access and need to contact my admin.

Thank you for your message. 

 

Is your enterprise plan affiliated with a school or university? If so, Firefly video is not available on those plans at this time. If it is not affiliated with a school or university, you will need to contact your local Adobe administrator. If you are not sure who that is, start with IT.

Thanks for reaching out. Could you share the plan you are on? The standard CC plan cedits cannot generate videos.

Hi @Mikerfitor999,

 

This generally means you are on an enterprise plan and your enterprise plan does not have Firefly premium features on the plan. If your enterprise plan is a educational plan, those features are currently not available on EDU enterprise plans. If your enterprise plan is not an educational plan, please talk with your local Adobe administrator. They can contact their Adobe account representative about adding Firefly premium features to your plan.

What kind of account is that?

If you have a company account or school account, please contct your IT department. They can limit it.

I was trying to create a video and have 500/500 credits, but Adobe is telling me I need to buy more credits. Is this normal?

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem. 

You appear to be on an enterprise plan. If the plan your enterprise has includes video, your local Adobe administrator would need to enable your account for video. If the plan your enterprise has does not include video, they would need to contact Adobe to have it added to your plan. Note, if you are on an EDU enterprise plan, video is not currently available on those plans.
