Why are Favs saved to a brower?

All my saved Favorite images are missing! Now I can't create new images using the prompt text base.

I just learned that whenever I mark an image as a Favorite it is saved to my active browser.
So, if I routinely clean out cookies, Firefly must also be cleaning out my Favorites. This makes no sense!
Can't Favorites be saved to an Adobe cloud for easy access regardless if I clean my browser?
