Since I updated yesterday, none of my renders in the AME renders audio with video. I rebooted, still nothing. I uninstalled and reinstall, and rebooted... nothing. I have to render everything out of PP.  UPDATE:  I can send from PP to the AME and render successfully.  I just cannot drag files into AME and expect it to render with audio.

What export settings would you use to get a web friendly file, out of a movie with a transparent background?It's a short animation (2 secs) at 1920x1440 size. I need to export it with rgb+alpha, so I chose the png codec, which output a 44mb sized file.Is it possible to get it under 10mb somehow?[Moved from the Lounge (which is where you can connect with your peers for conversations that don't directly relate to product help and support) to a product-specific support forum - moderator]

Hi there.Basicly I have a problem with my media encoder at progam launch while quick time exporter pluginns loading...I had a critical issue with my system and had to change hdd drives. I reinstall system, quicktime, cs6 mc and other programs I need.When this problem occured, I download setup files from adobe and try to reinstall it again. But this time, system says, something like, "it would be a crack file or something, please refer to asobe" or so...I did not chechk all of them but, after effects, illustrator and photoshop working properly...But the encoder...Would you please help me, because I need to use it at least 5-10 times a day...Regards.

I know AME picks up the last preset used and applies it to all subsequent import. After the import (like 100 of files), I decided to use a different preset.I know highlighting the files in the queue and double click the preset on the preset panel would ADD a new preset.But I want to change the preset, not adding one.

I have a top-of-the-line Mac Pro(late 2013, macOS Sierra, 12core, 64GB, 1TB SSD, Firepro D700)It works fine on the PC, but when I export it using Premiere or Media Encoder on my Mac Pro, the CPU usage is only 20 ~ 30%.I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix it.

Hi, I was wondering why all my footage was noticeably lower in quality after using AE and exporting through AME... Now I just think its the process of rendering full stop. To test it I imported a 4k 100mbps file from my GH4 camera and exported it exactly as it originally was (4k h.264 100mbps). The result was a video similar in quality to my GH4's 720hd out-of-camera footage.... this means that Media Encoder reduced my 4k video so much in quality that it looks like a 720hd 10mbps video - a video 10 times smaller in file size and EIGHT times smaller in definition... Is it something I am doing wrong? I tried exporting to VP9 also but no difference at all. Would really appreciate some help! Thanks.

I've seen several older posts but I haven't found any solutions. We are trying to convert our recorded meetings from Adobe Connect to a format our staff can view offline, such as an MP4 or WMV. The downloaded file from Adobe Connect is an FLV. For some reason when we do the conversion using AME, the video is fine but there is no audio. When the FLV is imported it also shows as "No audio" in the Source field. I know the FLV has audio because I can use a 3rd party media player such as VLC and it plays fine, with audio. We are using Adobe Connect version 9.4.2 and AME CS6 version 6.0.3.1. Also I am aware there are 3rd party apps that can do this but we aren't allowed to use 3rd party apps. I am also aware there is a paid feature in Connect 9.4 and is included in Connect 9.5 but we will not be getting that anytime soon. Thanks.

This is one of the enduring doubts for most of us, especially for those that never worked inside a broadcast station (my case). The context is the same as (almost) always. I'm mastering two documentaries for television and both were recorded and edited in 23.976 and broadcasters in Brazil ask for a XDCAM 4:2:2 50Mbits 60i - Stereo 48Khz 24bits, a very clear description. AME has the preset, it is called XDCAM HD 50 NTSC 60i. So far so good.I've been tinkering with these matter and ended up with two possible workflows that render different results. Here they are:WORKFLOW 1:1. Export a MASTER with the native settings: 1920x1080 @ 23.976 on DNxHD 10bits, because the source files were 10 bits.2. Transcode the file to the XDCAM HD 50 NTSC 60i directly.The 3:2 pulldown works correctly but on the "2" I get this. On top of that, it plays jittery. I've been told that this happens because I'm playing it directly to my computer monitor, that this will not happen on broadcasting.WORKFLOW 2:1. Expor

Its' darker ...or more contrast ...or gamma shifting...Tried everything:- nvidia DR 0-255 / 16-235- software / Mercure CUDA engine- in AE working space is "none"- in ME any codec, any settingsAdobe Media Encoder just makes a different look to the image! On a mac, as many of us have seen, when you export an mp4 for vimeo or youtube using the H264 codec, the results are awful. The files look flat and desaturated. All that time spent doing color correction only to have a pretty terrible result.We have been doing a lot of testing regarding this. Our exports look flat and lifeless. Did we need to use a LUT while exporting to compensate for this? What if we were then compensating for something that didn't look that way on other platforms?Turns out, its definitely an adobe media encoder problem.If you open your exported mp4 in a player like VLC. It looks fine. Same file in the quicktime player - awful. Well, anyone on a mac that is looking at youtube or vimeo sees the file like quicktime does - flat and lifeless from the gamma shift.I'm not sure exactly how its happening but the files that media encoder creates, either send information to quicktime causing it to gamma shift or, more likely, doesn't have information that other H264 files crea

How to solve the export video when prompted error: Frame dimension not supported. Please check that both width/height valuse are within limits.

Hi,I am looking for some IVTC settings to reverse telecine a film, I've tried the simple solution of changing the frame rate from 29.97 to 23.976, but am still getting duplicate frames and dropping good frames. Is there anyone who has good experience in Media Encoder that could shed some light on some settings to properly IVTC?Thanks,Matt

I sent a client a 30-minute video I produced in Premiere/Adobe Media Encoder and it does not play. Client tried it in Windows Media Player and VLC Player on a Windows 10 computer. I used the Windows Media Player codec HD 1080p 29.97 preset. Video plays perfectly on my computer, but not on my client's computer. I have also had similar issues in the past when using the H.264 output preset. Seems no matter what I do, my videos will not play on my customer's PC or Mac.I need to know what is the preferred output when making videos to be played on a computer. Is there not a universal format that will play reliably?

Hi-I am working with 2K source material which is 10bit linear DPX, and am looking to export back out to the same color space.I have made a pretty careful study of the DPX export settings. Is there any way to know if my export is linear or log? Or to specify it in AME? MediaInfo confirms that the source material is indeed linear. When I inspect the 10bit DPX output file with MediaInfo, it doesn't say either way (linear or log), and would like to have some confirmation that I am hitting my customer's spec.Thanks-- John

Hi there,I will highly appreciate if somebody can give an answer of my issue. I have a Trapcode composition in HD which contains some audio-reactive visuals and a grunge background. I have created this in 30 and 60 fps and export as PNG sequence and Quicktime MOV.When I tried to encode it for Vimeo or with just a Custom H.264 preset I received a very weird result. The first one second of the video is fine but after that I have a mass drop in quality so everything goes pixelated. I tried to change the bitrate and level and set them to the highest values. Than I received an excellent quality in approximately 9 GB. No chance to upload anywhere.I have the same issue on 2 different machines. Still cannot figure out the problem. I see that it is something about the bitrate but how can I get the good quality in a smaller file size.Thank you in advance!Anna

Dear all Tech Boffs and Problem solvers collective,I have a curious question on; when I import a Premiere Pro CC sequence into Media Encoder, which has more than 2 channels of audio. It fails to export.This works fine when i export from Premiere directly. However the opposite when done in ME.What i'm trying to export is a ProRes 4444 with 6 channel stereo output via Media Encoder, using a Premiere Pro sequence of an edit.I have done experiments with 2 channels of audio, which has been absolutely fine.I did a quick test whereby i tried it with picture and audio selected (Which failed) than without audio (Which worked).Thus the conclusion has to be audio output conflict!I have also gone into forums which suggested other options, which didn't work either.We work on a Mac, so Nvidia firmware updates are not the issue as we use ATI graphics card and Black-magic video card.This was the error message that is getting logged below. HiI'm new to Adobe Media Encoder, and have been getting great results with the free Wraptor DCP plug-in.Video is exported from Avid MC as PRoRes HQ with video levels [64-960].Black backgrounds to titles look a bit washed out on our DCPs, so I'm wondering if I need to scale to dat levels on export for Wraptor?This is not necessary for mp4, mov etc as all the Mac players [VLC, QT, Mpeg streamclip] automatically scale to data levels.Thanks for any advice or infoNigel

Auch die Kontaktierung beim Adobe Kundensupport blieb wie leider so oft ohne Ergebnis. Ich nutze Adobe Encoder gewerblich und bin darauf angewiesen das ich mit den Programmen arbeiten kann.Bitte Bitte Bitte, ich benötige Eure Hilfe !!!

is it possible to created animated gifs from After effects to Adobe Media Encoder CC2017?I don't see the option in the menu. I saw a tutorial on YouTube that shows the option, but that looks like an older version.

I've been using Premier Pro CC and Media encoder for several years Today suddenly I started getting a media off line message after exporting from PP to ME. The video is fine in PP but somehow it's showing up as off line in ME I've used this same video codec for years as well so I have no clue why the images and audio are not going to ME. I've tried reimporting the video into PP and also reimporting the video into the computer as well as starting a new PP project. It's driving me crazy.ThanksTed

Hi, When setting up an FTP publish in a watchfolder I hit "Test" and then AME creates the following error:If I use the same credentials on FileZilla I don't get access issues.Any ideas please?
