Lost my important files from adobe scan while waiting to upload to iCloud

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have scanned some important documents including my career related contracts, but they were waiting to upload to iCloud for few days. Unfortunately, I signed out of the Adobe Scan and when I signed in again, i found those files were missing, please help me how to recover those files back, because it is really needed for my carear. As I am an Afghan and the situation is really horrible here in Afghanistan these days, so I needed these documents to prove my carear with USG to have an evacuation based on these documents. I will be waiting to your positive reply on how to recover them.
