Question

AE Error: ( ItemH cannot be NULL) ( 5027 :: 20 )

Getting this error, every time there's some text layer.

A new fresh project, new composition, add 1 layer of text, type 3 letters, and boom!!! Error.

It's frustrating, I've got to do a kinetic type project.

This occurs in AE 18.4.1 and 21.1.1

iMacPro/10core/64GB/Vega64/ AE 21.1.1

    Having same issue since Feb 9th.

    Was OK before that.

    Tried deleting all recently installed scripts but it never helped.

    Occurs in AE 18.4.1 and AE 22.2.0.

    But not on my macbook. (AE 22.0.1)

    Update :

    Closing RG VFX SuperComp panel worked for me.

    Did @spicyburrito.aep  solve your issue?

    if not, have you tried using a different font to see if it is an issue with the fonts?

    Try dissabling any plugins.

     - if dissabling works, try adding one back in at a time so you can narrow down what the issue is.
