Question

After Effects Crashing: Cmd+Option+shift not helping

Hi everybody

So I'm having an issue with After effects where it crashes a few moments after startup on a  Mac, I've tried the usual advice of deleting preferences during startup but that doesn't help. I've also tried looking up similar error messages but that didn't bring up helpful results either. I've attached a screenshot of the system info and the error. If anyone has any advice, please help.

Hi Charmane5F8E,

Sorry for your issue.

How do you launch After Effects - by double-clicking a project or do you click its icon? Can you check if it's generating any crash logs? As a test, you can try running After Effects in a new user account. It'll help us to narrow down the issue.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu
