Import PRPROJ to AE, no placeholder names! Can't "batch" relink files.

Hi all.  So when I import a premiere project into ae, all the tutorials show that the placeholers still have the names of the footage intact (eg  trees_footage.avi) or whatever.  Mine all say "placeholder", so it's impossible to know what footage I need to grab.  Help!
