MENUS AND DROP DOWNS NOT WORKING

Question

Hi People,

I know this topic has been around for quite a few years - and I have tried all the solutions I can find in this forum, none of which work.

Having updated to AE 22.6, all the menus and drop downs have stopped working.

When I click on them they highlight but there is no drop down. Same goes for all the drop down selections within the application. Makes the application unusable.

This issue has never happened before and if I revert to 22.5 the issue no longer exists.

So it has to be to do with the 22.6 release and not my setup.

Anyone have any suggestions how to resolve?

Hi Casey, Thanks for writing in.After Effects had a similar issue in the past. Clicking the After Effects icon in the doc fixes the issue temporarily. Could you try that? If that's not the case, try removing third-party plug-ins if you have any.Let us know the outcome. Thanks,Nishu
