Question

Mixamo into after effects?

Hello!!

I have seem some discussion but no solution.

Is there a way to use mixamo animations in After effects?

All I see is that you have to buy elements 3d and there is no way they are going to pay for that.

Has anyone been able to figure it out?

Hi kimU,

Thanks for writing in.

If you're looking to import 3D objects in After Effects, you can try 3D Model Import in After Effects beta. Check out the following thread for more details: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/welcome-to-3d-model-import-in-after-effects/td-p/13276168

Feel free to reach out if there are any other questions.

Thanks,

Nishu

Thank you!!

I was playing around with it and have one question.

So I was in mixamo, downloaded a DAE file, then mad it into Obj files in Blender. When I import them into acrobat, I get this, Missing texture. Any ideas why?

Plus that means I have to stagger each file in order to make the animation work assuming I can get the texture right.
