Text cursor

Hi, I have a problem where the text cursor in the text box is always to the left of the box even when I'm writting. The text cursor should be on the right of the box when I'm typing something and the characters to the left behind the cursor. Is there a way to fix this?

As suggested already, reset the character palette. This seems to be a bug when certain combinations of features for glyph substitutions are used in relation to specific language settings and fonts. It suddenly looks liek RTL typing, though it actually isn't.

The first thing I would do is reset the Character panel. Do that by clicking the three little lines (menu) in the top right corner of the Character panel. Then set Paragraph Justification to Left and start typing again. 

 

Let us know if that does not fix the problem.
