Any API updates along with Spectrum UI ?

hey guys, what up
We all have been following the discussion about new Spectrum UI here

People are complaining about images not showing in scripts UI ... my scripts are working the same, so clearly it's an issue that will be solved till the release version.
My question is about the ScriptUI API ... will be any change on this too ?
All methods, properties, listeners, etc, will stay the same?
And all layout stuff like margins, padding, positioning ... how Spectrum UI will impact the coding side?
