Hi,I'm creating an Android app with Adobe Air (v14) that contains a native extension. (ANE) I used the SAFE pre-set of secureSWF 4.5 to obfuscated the app but since then the features of the ANE are not longer working. (everything else is working great) Anybody know how to fix this issue?Thanks

Dear Adobe community,Has anyone been able to take an existing FLA file in Flash Pro CS55 and 'publish' an swf file as version 14 (Air 3.1)? I'm trying to use a native extension for iOS on GitHub, but my app has been on Flash Pro and hence have been publishing, then using ADT to compile the native extensions I need. However, to use iOS5 features (and add additional frameworks from Xcode like MessageUI), the swf file has to be version 14. With the latest Flash Pro CS55 update, my compiled SWF files are version 13, and when I try to publish an ipa-ad-hoc file, it tells me the "root swf file version" is 13 while the extension (I'm assuming library.swf) is in version 14. I've of course tried overlaying the Air 3.1 SDK over the appropriate directories within CS55, as I did with Air 3.0 SDK, but no go? thank you and with kind regards,Alex

Hi,I am having some trouble with some ATF textures I am uploading to memory on a few different IOS devices.When the texture starts to upload using Texture.uploadCompressedTextureFromByteArray( data, offset, isAsync ) I get a #3669: Bad Input Size error occur. Taking at look at the properties in the data I can see that the position is always 16. Im not sure if that has anything to do with it but i thought i would mention it.I have tried using the png2Atf and also using Texture Packer but i get the same result.I can replicate the issue every time on iPad Air IOS 8.4.1, we have also replicated it on a number of other IOS devices running different IOS versions.My textures are 2048x2048 and I am using baselineConstrained for the Stage3D profile.I am using Starling but I have used the following code for testing to make sure that it is not starling that is failing.It would also be good to know that I load about 4 other ATF textures successfully before it tries fails to load this texture. I have two questions regarding the packaging with adt.When using the air sdk adt command to package my application, I seem to get a dsym file with symbols only for arm64. However if I unpackage the ipa file and run dsymutil on the application, I am able to generate a dsym file that contains symbols for both armv7 and arm64. Is this expected behaviour? if so what is the reason for this?Also the adt package and symbolication seems to only work for ipa-debug targets. The problem is that I can't really read anywhere if this is expected behaviour or not. The problem is that we will not be able to symbolicate a crash log unless we only run apple device tests on ipa-debug. We are currently rarely using the ipa-debug as it is running significantly worse than an ad-hoc packaging on the devices. Am I running into issues here or is it expected behaviour to have symbolication only working for debug builds?

I am trying to install Adobe AIR 18.0.0.199 by using the msi that I decompressed from the original .exe. I already tried removing the SHAREDADDINFOLDER or changing its value to C:/. However, those options did not work and I am still having the error: "Could not access network location (compute" when running the msi. Anyone knows what options should I try? Thank you!

I am using windows XP. I installed Adobe AIR a few days ago, since it is required to runa game.But since then, I wasn't able to update the game, inspite of a stable internet.Since today,whenever I try to update the game,it shows a message "There was an error downloading the update. Error# 16820". Please help me.

Now ive read most of these forums threads with the same title. but mine is slightly different, it doesnt crash in game, but it crashes only when im using the client, IE champ select, runes and masteries, etc. It crashes right before a game begins but NEVER during. Ive contacted riot and weve narrowed it down to it being Adobe air consistantly crashing. Would like a fix.

Hello,we are using UncaughtErrorEvents to log unhandled exceptions from our game in our database. I was able to fix all errors that have decent stack traces, however some error messages really lack any valuable information. For example I have lots of logs in the database like this:Error: Error #1502     at [path].models::UncaughtErrorHandler/logError()     at [path].models::UncaughtErrorHandler/uncaughtErrorsHandler()So there is really no information where this error is coming from except that it eventually arrived in the UncaughtErrorHandler class. We are using Air 18 with ASC2, inlining was not enabled. Does anyone know if we can somehow improve the stack trace to show meaningful information?Thanks

Hello. It's about the zoom-feature which is triggered by double-tapping, directly followed by swipe. (so not releasing after last tap, but just swiping)Currently, I'm working on a game-app, where this built-in feature is unfortunately very confusing.I could also not find a related deactivation-option for the app itself (Android).I'm using MultitouchInputMode.GESTURE.Is there a built-in way to deactivate that by code? I have not found it so far.Or is it planned to be introduced in a future version?If yes, I would either think of deactivating it permanently, like:NativeApplication.nativeApplication.doubleTapZoomeMode = false; // or soOr even better: a preventable event that is dispatched right before TransformGestureEvent.GESTURE_ZOOM; (start-phase):like DOUBLE_TAP_ZOOM; and the prevention of the event would cause the system to ignore the following touch action.If there was no way, I had to create some workaround... but I want to avoid that if possible.Thanks in advance.Yves

I have moved the aapt.exe, adb.exe, adbWinApi.dll, adbWinUsbApi.dll and the dx.jar to the appropriate places and the original error of the device not being recognized is gone and now I am hitting the following error below. I have searched for a solution but nothing pertains to this exact problem. Any help would be appreciated. Also before anyone asks the android-res.jar is in the folder and has been updated with the latest sdk. Following is this error:Error occurred while packaging the application:aapt tool failed:ERROR: Asset package include 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\sdks\4.6.0\lib\android\lib\resources\android-res.jar' not found.

Hi,Due to recent IT policy changes, our build server can no longer access the internet freely. We have to provide a list of URLs that will be whitelisted then. Hi!When i compile the iOS version, the ApplicationDomain.currentDomain.getQualifiedDefinitionNames() function returns a vector with length 0.OS X, Windows, and Android versions work fine, but not the iOS version. I have tested it with fast and AOT compilation. Also, i have created a simple project with this single line with the same result. AIR versions tested are 3.9 and 4.0.I don't know if it is a known bug or something is wrong. What could be the cause? Thanks.

Hi,We need to implement a secure login into our app, which runs on IOS. In the documentation for SecureSocket, it says it is supported  on IOS and Android. Yet "SecureSocket.isSupported" returns false in IOS, and trying to instantiate it throws an exception. We have tried both SDK16 and SDK18, same result.Can anyone shed light on this? Why in the docs it says supported, and it seems not to be? Should it work? I have a webpage which contains a HTML5 video player which get rendered fine on any HTML5 supported Browser , i need to run these HTML5 video player components on my HTML flex container .When i tried the same it show a notification like "HTML5 Video Player is not Supported".Please help.

I'm using Flash CS6 with AIR 18.0.0.199 for iOS.My stage size is 1024x768 and the app works perfectly on my 1024x768 resolution iPad (iPad mini 1st generation).However on all retina 2048x1536 resolution iPads the entire app permanently shrinks to 1/4 of the screen when my video starts.The culprit is stageVideo, which I use because the FLVPlayback is consistently VERY choppy on my 1024x768 iPad .The only thing that has worked so far for both resolutions using stageVideo is changing the resolution from 'high' to 'standard', but the loss in quality throughout the app is very harsh so this is no solution.I simply want to be able to play videos in my app for both iPad resolutions, whether or not I use stageVideo...Surely there is a solution? I can't imagine something as simple as playing videos in AIR for iPad apps is not possible...Help is very much appreciated.Thanks,Matt

Using Flash CS6 and the newest air sdk v14.My 1024x768 air for iPad app gains a dramatic performance boost when render mode GPU is enabled. However if I set resolution to high the app is only half the screen size on the new 2048x1536 iPads, and if I set to standard the quality is bad.Direct and cpu render modes have pretty bad performance on all iPads. It's just very simple app, just images buttons and videos in their simplest form with a few page in and out tweens..Is there any solution to getting good performance & quality on both iPad resolutions?Thanks,Matt
