Questions

Exactly as it is in the title. I click File > Export > Export Video/Media...Nothing happens, nothing pops up. Export Movie, Image, etc, works, everything works, except the one thing I need to do.

When going to the Fluid Brush Tool via the 3 dots to add it to a panel there's a caution sign for some reason. When I move it to the panel it is grayed out so I can't select it! How can I enable this tool? I've been watching tutorials on animate and there's ALWAYS something that just doesn't work as demonstrated. There's nothing online on this tool explaining why this is happening from what i can find. You're truly, very frustrated. 

A student has drawn this character with separate body parts on different layers. For some reason, the legs have become blurry (it was sharp before). It's hard to see on the photo but the legs are noticeably less sharp than the other parts in reality. Any suggestions how we fix it? The only anomaly I can see is the white key frame on the same layer, but I haven't managed to figure out how to get the sharpness back. They have been experimenting with tweens etc. but they've all been removed. Thanks in advance.  

I'm pretty new to animate, so not sure if this is a glitch or user error. I'm animating animal legs using asset warp tool. I created "bones" for each of the legs. The front legs are warping independently without affecting each other but I can't move one of the back legs without affecting/warping the other. I also can't toggle "handle mode" in the object settings, even with a joint selected. Is there another setting I need to turn on? Was it a drawing error? (Both of the back legs are separated in my drawing so I'm not sure why this would be the case). Thank you in advance for any help. 

I am still working on this HTML5 canvas portfolio.  I want to pop a new window or tab to show some HTML and CSS work examples.  I'm able to open HTTP links, but is there any way to load a LOCAL html file in a new browser or window?

So i keep having the same issue with my file. I'm not sure If i'm putting too much information into one symbol, but i'm having trouble with animation forming black rectangles and generally looking like i'm staring through a paine of broken glass? At first I started just putting animation onto different layers. ( I genreally set all the animation of one character, puppet and all) into a symbol, then letting it play once throughout the movie to stop this same issue from happening. But now its back. Words fail me to describe exactly how it looks, so i took a screen recording (sorry the audio from the animation is so loud, I tried to re-record but then the problem just went away for some reason?) Has anyone experianced this before? And why does it seem to stop after scrolling up and down the timeline a few times? I'm running 23.0.1 

I have used Adobe Media Encoder and uploaded my video as an MP4 into Adobe Animate. I can "preview" the video and it works just fine. My question is how do I edit the Video timeline as I only see one frame but I know the entire video is in that frame but  I would like to add animations to match the movie time. I am utilizing action script 3.0

Example; I drew a head, was working on their hair and suddenly the head automatically gets filled in with color despite me working on the hair lineart. I'm confused and hit ctrl z. Nothing happens. It's still black. I try again, and other things are being undone. That gives me hope and endless confusion because on one hand, I'd really like my art to not be destroyed and gone by this random auto fill situation, but on the other I'm lost and confused. Anyway, I provided a video. This has happened before and additionally, lines are dissappearing when I draw them on the rare occasion. Say every 30 strokes. I'm lost and I've just updated my drawing tablet's driver, so I should be good on that. I also went through the whole windows ink fiasco so I truly hope that's not the issue. Thanks in advance.

Bonjour, depuis le début 2024 au minimum, quand je lance Animate que ce soit 2022 ou bien 2024, et que je tente de créer un nouveau projet ou bien d'ouvrir un projet existant, Animate se ferme automatiquement par la suite. J'ai refait l'install depuis Creative Cloud Desktop, les pilotes graphiques de mon pc on été mis à jour depuis (au cas ou il y aurai eu une incompatibilité avec version précédente). Rien n'y fait je ne peux plus travailler avec Animate.Je ne rencontre pas ce souci avec les autres produits que j'utilise à savoir: Première Pro, Illustrator, Character Animator. Je suis ultra novice dans l'utilisation de ce type de logiciel.Pouvez-vous m'aider SVP ? Hello! I'm having trouble importing an image from photoshop into animate. Whenever I try to import the photoshop file to the animate stage, the stage turns black and I'm unsure what is going wrong. I have a movie clip on stage on top of a graphic. When the main timeline movie gets to this frame it stops and plays the nested movie clip. I want to code from the main timeline actionscript layer an event listener that detects when the last named frame of the nested clip is played and goto and stop on a named frame of the main timeline. So, for example. On frame 30 which is named "question_1" is a button click event listener that goes to the next frame "question1_answer1": this.q1f1.addEventListener("click", fl_MouseClickHandler.bind(this));function fl_MouseClickHandler(){      this.gotoAndStop("question1_answer1");} on "question1_answer1" there is a "this.stop();" and a movie clip on the stage named "qchicken" that runs an animation. On the last frame of "qchicken" I have named the frame "chicken_down" at which point I want to go back to "question_1" on the main timeline. So how do I write an event listener that does this: this.qchick

I have tried every possible idea to get the files to import while maintaining transparency. It always slaps a black background on them even though the layers have transparency. We imported as a single bitmap image and that worked, but I want my students to be able to have their characters go behind objects, etc without dealing with complexities of masking layers. I have reset all settings to default as it's only happening to two of my students, and nothing changed. I've cycled through all the various clickable options from the import menu and nothing changes. Hi, It's my first time at Animate, I'm trying with tutorials and when I add bones to the jellyfish there isnt an option to add soft one, just though one.I dont know how to proceed. Are there many versions or premiuns plans with more options?Thank youCarlos

I cannot get any gifs to loop their animation when I export from Animate CC (2018), even though I have the looping set to "forever" in the export settings. They loop in my mac's finder window, but I'm pretty sure Finder loops all gifs regardless of their settings. When I drag the files into a web browser, they only play once. Same results for both Chrome and Firefox. Why is my "forever" setting just getting ignored when it exports? How do I fix this? I have dug up some iffy websites that let me upload the gif and set it to loop forever, but the image quality and frame rate go down.

Hii all,I have a problem with the Animate cc shortcuts, when I'm trying to create a new keyframe using f6 nothing happen.When I'm trying to change / define the shortcut in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts , pressing F6 and it write Ctrl+c instead of F6.It only happen with F6 , I can change any other shortcuts.

Nearly everytime I try to fill an object in, Animate stops processing and begins to crash. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello, as you can see in the picture, there is a Robotic Work Machine and the arm of this machine will be animated to pick up the parcel lying on the ground and drop it further, but I cannot connect the box to the hand of the machine. When I connect it with the bone system, it moves, but when I play the animation from the beginning, the box remains motionless in its old place. I need help with this. I Couldn't Find Enough Detailed Information About Moving Objects Interactively. Thanks in advance

Please understand that I am inquiring using a translator because I am not familiar with English.We are currently having difficulty producing animations.Lip-syncing takes too much time.Since it is a non-English speaking country, the basic lip-sync function provided by Animate is difficult to use.There is a function called Audio bone wiggle in the Mohanimation program.It is a function to insert audio and give or subtract the rotation value according to the audio volume level on the selected bone.These functions will greatly help you reduce your working time, but do these functions already exist as plug-ins or external APIs?If not, what are the alternatives?Or, would you have a lot of trouble developing a simple plug-in or script for these features?I've never built a plug-in within an animate, so I need a lot of help.Thank you.

I have a problem with Animate not even wanting to launch. The buffering graphic shows up then it crashes. I've tried all common and uncommon fixes suggested here and still nothing. I have Windows 11. Did anyone run into the same issue? Please help. 

Hello, I am following one of the official Adobe Animate tutorials on youtube, but I am stuck at a certain point. How do I get there to be two red guidelines as shown in the second image? I can only get one to appear. Thank you in advance!
