Does anyone know if Adobe is planning to add AI assistance features in Animate, such as code suggestions or auto-completion? Dear Adobe support team, Please fix the Animate home page image flickering This is very disturbing. Also please help animators by adding some modern features.  

A file with a good handful of animations for a game I'm working on got corrupted, with no way to recover it, as the file AND it's autorecover just did not save properly.I do, however, still have the texture atlas! if there's any way I could reconstruct the animations with it without having to painstakingly recreate them, please tell me.

Hi, guys. I'm struggling with my project in adobe animate, I need to make a stopwatch. And I need some point of the time to be noted or called or recorded. I have no clue how to make it. I just found several answers about countdown timers and don't understand it. I'm new to adobe animate canvas. would anyone please help me? Thank you.

I've started messing aroudn with warped assets, but I can't reuse them. Once I make one, it adds it to the library. However, I cannot reuse them on the stage. So, I can pre-rig arms and legs because I can't use them again once they are warped assets.  I'm confused. What's the point of adding it to the library if I'm not allowed to reuse them?Is this a bug? How do I fix it? I can't seem to find anything when searching. I'm using Animate 24.0.10. Any help would be great, otherwise I need to stop wasting my time with this software.

I'm on Windows 11, trying to export a project i made on Animate. It says i need to have Adobe Media Encoder, and to get that I need Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud isn't available for Windows 11. What can I do?

I design for eLearning and have made some interactive swf so I am hoping that I do not have to re-create all that I have made when Animate CC is available. Does anyone know if we will be able to import our fla files into Animate CC?

This is really confusing so basically i went to do a preview of my work and then when i got out of the preview and looked back at my  timeline everything turned into a active frame and nothing will show on the stage but when i go back to preview again it pops up just fine 

I am working in Adobe Animate to produce a HTML5 banner. I want to build an interactive banner. There will be 5 bullet points. When a user hovers over a bullet point, it reveals more copy (under that bullet point), and the other bullet points move down. And when they move away, the revealed copy is hidden, and the bullet points (below), move to their initial place. Is this possible to produce? If it is possible, any how-to guides available? Thanks

Hello Adobe community, I was wondering if buying a second hand (legitimate and boxed) copy of Flash CS3 would make me using that program legal. I am aware that activation no longer works so the program installed would have to be patched in some way, but I believe there is no problem if I do own a boxed copy of the program. Answers such as "Just get Adobe Animate!" or "Flash is dead!" will be ignored.

I created a simple animation for our menus. This was a recent project. Last week. I need to make some edits and when opening the entire stage is white. The layers, assets, timeline all fine. I can edit. I just can't see what I'm editing. I've updated, unistalled and reinstalled. This even happens when I try and just create a new project. Please help. NOice in the image I am zoomed out to 16% Its all white.

I’m stumped.  When I test my 2 ½ minute movie in animate, it plays to the end.  But when I Export Video/Media (Entire Movie) to mp4, it stops about ¾ of the way through. My settings have worked in the past, this is the first time it happened, any suggestions? Thanks

As someone who uses the Library section frequently to keep my animation production clear and smooth, there can be a risk of deleting a folder without realizing it when focused on a separate file. My recommendation would be to add a lock-unlock mechanism in the folders of the Library in the same way you can lock and unlock frames in Timeline to avoid mistakes. I wasn't able to get in touch with the agents, so hopefully I can get in touch with the community to fix this next Adobe Aimate update, especially since I imagine it to be a simple fix Thanks for reading  

Hey, back with another question lol but this problem has kept occurred in so many animations i try to do.So I'm trying to do a classic tween when something is moving up and to the right and then rotating at the same time. These are two different keyframes of course and I created each one seperately with absolutely no breaks in between so when the classic tween is added, it should just move smoothly while rotating to the specified location. But then when I put in the classic tween and play it, the animation is smooth for a bit but then I found out it tween to a different location one frame before the actual keyframe and then when it hits the next keyframe, it snaps awkwardly from the random position to the desired position.Idk, this seems to happen to much and I don't want to make new keyframes within the tween just to fix it. Is there a reason why it keeps doing that?

Hello, everyone.   I'm working on a project using Flash CS6 and it seems there's no way to clear the path to the FLA in the IDE (same for Animate).   And using JSFL, when I try something like: lib.setItemProperty("sourceFilePath", "file:///"); Or: lib.setItemProperty("sourceFilePath", ""); I always get an invalid argument error.   JC

I have really shaky hands and I can't seem to find a setting to change the smoothing. It helps me a lot in photoshop (Dragging the line just a bit behind your brush stroke) but I haven't found anything for fixing this with animate? Is it an actual feature or am I just blind. I'm using the latest updatable version, with Adobe Creative Cloud anyway.

When Motion Tween created object auto moves few pixels from its position, copying from last frame same object sometimes doesnt paste into its postition, even changing X or Y coordinates it jumps back to wrong postition. Sometimes re-copying object from last frame helps with tiny position inacurracy, but there are times when you need to rethink whole animation, becouse nothing helps and it doesnt stay still even without animating anything.Anyone encountered this issue?

august 2025 just had a bad crash and then find this thread anyone have experience repairing corrupted files?  it's "just" data, so there must be ways toscrape out / examine it relatively diredtly while genai is coming for animators, there's something super hand made bespoke about animate i love.  i'm always unsure if i should do projects in ae or blender; but i keep coming back to animate  loves me some vector graphics. 

Hello everyone! I'm just wondering if there is still a way to download Animate CC 2019.If it is possible, can someone tell how to download it?

The logic behind the mask layers of this software is bogus.Aside from that, they work with Vibes only. Basically, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I just duplicated the layer and put a mask on it so that I can draw shadows on it. It works 80% of the time, aside from when Animate bugs. Is it because the layers have objects inside???GIF: I hate this software. I wish I didn't grow with it. I wish there was an alternate.

 I want to tween this drawing object. They are the same drawing object, but animate doesn't let me. Is there a way to tween drawing objects without converting them to symbols?
