This one is randomly triggered, just wanna know if there is any fix. I have made several researches and found none complaining about this issue.

In the case of this video, it happened on the third recording attempt.

Go to the C: drive on your computer and create a new folder called -well it doesn't matter really, but temp2 would be fine. Now open Audition and go to Edit>Preferences>Media and Disk Cache and locate the Primary Temp file setting. Go to Browse at the end of the line and select the folder you just made. When you've done this the temp location should say C:\temp2 - or whatever you called it. Click on OK and you're done.

The reason that you won't have found any other comments about this is probably because it's not happening to other people; this is generally the case.

It's hard to glean from your video exactly what is happening, but it looks as though it takes a couple of goes before recording in Waveform view starts correctly. Is this it? Is this on a Mac or a PC? All I can tell you is that for recording to run properly in Waveform view, there has to be fast access to the temp file location, as that's where all Waveform recordings go before they are saved. If that access is delayed for any reason, then recording won't start correctly.

By default, temp space is shared with your OS, and that's a bad idea. Fortunately in Preferences you can relocate the temp file space to somewhere else - ideally onto a drive of its own, but if you can't do that then at least into a folder on the root space of your hard drive. So if this is what's happening, the first thing you should try is relocating the primary temp space (the secondary doesn't matter).

Can u explain more specific on the solution? Or can u direct me to a tutorial on how to relocate the temp file space. Currently I found the Primary temp setting on the Media & disk cache but I literally have 0 idea on where to relocate.
