Question

Adobe Bridge Blue Thumbnails macOS for H265/HEVC Footage

Has anyone found a solution to the blue thumbnail glitch on Adobe Bridge on macOS? Thumbnails on ProRes HQ footage look normal, but any H265/HEVC footage has a blue tint. I know Windows has a solution by installing HEVC extensions, but I can't find any for macOS. I am on the latest macOS Sequoia and Adobe Bridge versions.

I have the same problem with blue thumbnails for video in Adobe Bridge. It's 3/1/25 and I'm using the latest Bridge, the latest Photoshop, running Sequoia 15.3.1 on a Mac Mini M4 Pro. The actual video will play in correct color, but the thumbnails are all blue tinted. I've re-installed Bridge a couple of times to no avail. I'll attach a screenshot showing the thumbnail of a RAW (NEF) file in true color, the blue thumbnail of a video made of the exact same scene, and a paused Quicktime window showing that blue-thumbnailed video playing with correct color.

Following on my comment above, here's a screen capture video of those blue thumbnails in action: https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/4zBUGqrqCF

Same issue. H.265 and Canon Log2  footage all show blue.
