Question

adobe photo downloader can't recognise my Sony CF express card

Following my usual workflow with bridge adobe photo downloader ( inside bridge 2020), I am unable to download images from a Sony  CF express 128Gb via the card reader (sony CF epress type B/ XQD card reader) to my computer

Adobe bridge > Adobe Photo downloader> get photos from camera > no device found > refresh > no device found

(but normal function to download from another Sony XQD 32 G using the same card reader

Pls advise

I've found a workaround.  Leave your CFExpress card in-camera.  Make the USB cable connection from the camera to your computer.  The Bridge App will find the Camera okay and allow access to all memory cards for upload.

I am having a similar issue with CF express cards not being recognized. I have pro grade and also San disc cf express cards with same results. Adobe tells me it is the card manufacturer's issue related to read and write permissions
