Ok, so what I am trying to accomplish is a one-touch script that will take a Photoshop eps. save it, then open a specific Illustrator file, place the eps. inside it, then run a set of Illustrator actions. So basically I am trying to figure out how to script between the two programs.  My original thought would be to use Bridge as a middleman, but I dont have any sort of Bridge scripting experience so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,I'm having a strange color management issue in Bridge (64 bit). Essentially, Bridge is not displaying images in either the thumbnails or preview pane using the correct color profile.Background: I'm on Windows using a dual monitor setup (both independantly calibrated) but I have the issue even when I use only one monitor. Photoshop has no issues with color settings. I've tried resetting all settings (hitting Ctrl as Bridge starts). I've tried purging my cache and having Bridge generate monitor-size previews. The weirdest part is when I start Bridge, for a split second images appear to be in the correct profile, and then Bridge adjusts everything to the wrong color profile.Any thoughts?Thanks!

I am creating a script to only select RGB Files. I have a javacript to help batch process collections of images in Bridge by sending them (in layers) to Photoshop CS5. It works perfectly, except it stops running after about ten minutes (around 6-10 images) so that I have to keep restarting the script. This behaviour has only started since the script was installed in the Bridge startup folder so that it could be started from the (right click) menu. The script does not seem to time out when run via ExtendToolkit. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Is there an easy way to find the color mode of a thumbnail? I was wondering if label would work. I am guessing I am going to have to go through the metatdata but I was not sure. Thanks.

Hi allI´ve written a script to add 3 buttons to a top navbar. Running from Extended Script works perfectlly. However when adding this script to Bridge´s startup folder (to run it one Bridge opens)..then I get an erro. This could be because a script should wait until the loader finishes. I have a droplet on my desktop. I was thinking of copying the file to the droplet. I have to inspect the name of each file before the action gets run. If it meets certain critirea. Then I need to run the action on that pic. Or thumbnail. Thanks in advanced for any words of wisdom. Is there a guide for Bridge JS?

I am wondering if there is a way to rename & copy a single image multiple times using a list of predetermined names (Linking to an XML or TXT document for the list of new file names).

My problem is this, I converted a couple ov Vectors to .ai to assign keywords to it. But Bridge keeps telling me that it can't write Metadata to the files.Can anyone please help with this?I've got all the updates for Bridge and I've tried clearing the Cache. Still no luck

I have had good luck exporting file metadata with JavaSCript so far, but there are two properties that keep returning "undefined"; photoshop:ColorMode and photoshop:ICCProfile.Other photoshop properties export just fine, but nothing I've tried works for these two. Is there a way to share my ratings and labels that I made in Bridge with other people?I usually work with my editor, we both have all the clips on our computers (we work in different places).What I'd like to do is to give him all the ratings and labels I've done in Bridge without sending him all the files again.Can I do something like this, maybe using some script?Thank youStefano

I have 8500 video files that I have tagged with multiple keywords.  These are all AVI so the file cannot store metadata.I want to preserve a backup of the metadata in xmp sidecars for safety (backup, future proofing, sharing).File Info/Export seems to do the trick but only works on single files (if you multi-select, export is disabled).Has anyone written a script to exactly mimic this Export feature but for multiple files??  I have both CS5.5 and CS6.I have seen some that export custom schema but I want something that is standardized.  I like how the export function writes both hierarchical and flat keyword trees for example.Thanks!Mark.

I want to know if the folder I have selected in bridge can be identified as the folder selected?Like if(00318-000.selected==true){//then do something) something to that nature. Then I want to get the name of it.

The "CS6 Tools Guide" document shows no changes in how graphical settings should be used for Foreground Colour, Background Colour, Fonts and Font Size, as well as the use of Images in panels.  All these work as before with scripts used in Photoshop CS6.  But with Bridge CS6 the use of an image will crash Bridge, whereas the settings for Colours and Fonts are just ignored.  Does Bridge CS6 now have customised settings for graphical changes to panels?  Or is this a bug?

Hi, I rank all my jpg file in bridge (Because, I prefer rank file with all effect apply) and after, I want to apply the same ranking to my associated raw filename.  I use the filter on the left to select only jpg file, but, I'm not able to select corresponding raw file.  Is there a way to select corresponding raw file using the current selection of jpg file ?  Right after, I will be able to rank everything easily.   Thank you for you help.

I am wondering if anyone has had this experience. My UI is working on the mac side in both CS4 and CS5. But when I am running it in CS4 on the PC side windows XP the text does not show up.
