Frustrating lookng at image in Bridge,  as the large previw images seem a bit out of focus, never look sharp even the sharp ones!  Which I know are tack sharp. Anything one can do? thanks.

Mac OS 13.2 on a Mac Studio and Mac Mini 2020 with Bridge 2023 version 13.0.2.636 and PS 24.1.1 Hello,As per my subject line, every time I close the Bridge window on my Macs (Red dot, upper left side of the Bridge window), Bridge actually closes instead of just closing the window and staying open. That behaviour only affects Bridge not Photoshop. I have to restart Bridge every time to continue working. If I only minimize the window (orange dot), everything continues to work as intended.I have uninstalled/ re-installed Bridge several times but the behavior persists. Having used both on other machines (at work) without this behaviour, I believe I am missing a file/folder somewhere in my OS (possibly after cleaning my files with CleanMyMac X at some point).Any suggestion appreciated.ThanksT

Hello, trying to export images with all metadata removed and my own template added. I'm trying to remove camera shoot settings, EXIF. Doesn't work.I think I tried all the settings now. In 'include original metadata' I set it for 'copyright and contact info only' plus I add 'apply metadata template' to append my own.  Other test: 'include original metadata' checked off, and 'apply template' I set it to 'replace' with my own. EXIF camera data still there. Did I overlook something or a bug? 

With the release of Bridge 2023, my Utility Script Pack for Bridge will require some updates. Most of the scripts still work, although I have found some bugs in scripting support.   Known issues: - Label Bar, Text Preview and Folder Info need cosmetic/layout updates but otherwise work ok - Window Sync is obsolete with the change from multiple windows to multiple panels. - PDF Export works but applying a metadata template is broken due to a Bridge bug that I cannot work around.   I intend to do more testing and release an update later this year.

Windows 10 operating system.I delete a photo while in Bridge CC.  It disappears from the Preview pane.  It is gone when I check the folder with Windows explorer.  But the thumbnail in the Content pane still shows the thumbnail.  I have to shut Bridge down, then reopen it for it to refresh properly.  Need a fix, please.

Bridge 2023 is a really slow, sluggish mess. Bridge 2022 does NOT have this same problem. Attached is a video of the issue (my screen recording doesn't relfect the spinning ball that happens after filtering, but one can see the delay in response). Toggling filtering on and off triggers the spinning ball, selecting images sometimes happens...doesn't happen. Maybe selects two images, then deselects them. I've reverted back to Bridge 2022, but this is unacceptable in the long term. Let me know what other info you need...this needs to be addressed. What is going on?!? Bridge seems to get *worse* with every release!

I just updated Bridge to version 13.0.2.636. It was totally unusable. It took such a long time generating thumbnails. I could not scroll through my images and Bridge just froze. Task manager showed CPU usage was a constant 100%.I am using Windows 10 and there is this setting to specifically instruct the OS to use the GPU for certain software. Then I remembered that I had previously specified Bridge to use the GPU. Somehow, after installing Bridge 2023, that setting did not get updated. It was still specifying Bridge 2022 which of course was overwritten by Bridge 2023. I set Bridge 2023 to use the GPU and it solved the problem. Thumbnail generation was very fast and I hardly had to wait for it to finish.So if you are using Windows 10 or 11, in case you are not aware, this is how you specify Bridge to use GPU (your graphics card, assuming you have one):Go to Settings -> System -> Display, scroll to bottom and click Graphics Settings. Click Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling to ON.

Hello, tagging with keywords in Bridge CC (preferred over Lightroom Classic), I often want to add one more keyword to several images in a row that already have various non-identical keywords. I want to add the new keyword(s) so that the existing keywords remain there and are not replaced, but added-to. I think LR has a specific field to type keywords into; they will be added to selected images, but existing keywords remain. Example: Image A: Existing keyword 1: beachExisting keyword 2: sunsetImage B: Existing keyword 1: streetExisting keyword 2: traffic lightBoth images should receive the new keyword icecream, while the existing, non-identical keywords remain in-image. But when I select both images in Bridge, open "File Info" (translating menu commands here from other language) and type the new keywords, the old keywords are lost. I use this script to anonomise files i send out for outsourcing. However one part of the script  does not sucessfully clear the metadata apply an empty template to the selected files. I usually resize thumbnails using the bottom +/- slider but now when I click on the slider or anywhere on the bottom toolbar it greys out and does nothing. I can still resize using Ctrl +/-.Anyone have an idea whats going on?

The current version of Bridge still is natively Intel compiled and not available as native M1 resp. M2 aka Apple Silicon version. Does someone know, when we will get a M1 resp. M2 version no longer using Rosetta 2?Thanks for feedback and help,Roland

Half way through 2023, Bridge 2023 is still significantly slower than 2022 version. It's slower to start, slower to open ACR, and freezes way too often. I'm deleting Br 2023 and going back to 2022 version.

Bridge 10.1.1.166Recently installed this - and am still finding my way around.  But I have seen how to use the filters, and am aware that if an open folder does not have any data for a filter used in the filter panel, then that entry in the filter list is not shown.  But I have opened two different folders, both showing the file creation dates in the metadata shown in the content display window, and one shows the appropriate filter for the creation dates, and the other one does not.   No change to the filter list. I have tried resetting the preferences at the startup, and the same problem happens on those same folders. Most folders in fact show creation dates in the filter list, but some do not. See screenshots attached.  Any ideas would be welcome.

The ability to have separate Bridge instances remains crucial not only to my workflow, but the workflow every imaging production professional. Content Windows do not cut it. Why? Unlike opening a New Window (or instance of Bridge) like we could in version after version previous to 2023, Content Windows as currently implimented lack the ablity to: Apply different filters to multiple sets of images and have those controls independently and simultaneously available. Like you can when running multiple instances of Bridge.Have those differently filterable sets available with full controls in separate spaces / windows sets. Like you can when running multiple instances of Bridge.Quilckly switch between sets of images with shortcut keys. Like you can when running multiple instances of Bridge.We need these features back, working natively on Apple Silicon running Ventura.Instead, here I am installing an Intel app on a second generation Apple Silicon machine. Lame.

I updated Bridge recently and deleted the version I was using - STUPID mistake. I have been trying to figure out how to get Bridge working like it was before. My Desktop is not appearing at all. What do I need to do to get this app running again? Thanks!

I have no problems with Nik's original Collection Version 1.2.11 in Photoshop 24.5 at all, which works perfectly!   The only issue I am having and like so many others is with Adobe Bridge 2023: for purging RAW files and for Screen Viewing, which still starts to freeze my desktop on Windows 10 when viewing many RAW files within Bridge. And also, every time I exit out from Adobe Bridge 2023, it crashes down and leaves me a dump file.   I have never had this problem last year with Adobe Bridge for editing RAW files and for viewing them. So, the big? - When will the Adobe Engineers team get back to the basics for Bridge to work within Photoshop normally again? This is the worst Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.693 for 2023, I have ever encountered from them!   [Mod: Title changed]

When downloading from my Nikon NEF SD card, Photo Downloader skips random files.  Why? 

In older version, when I created a new folder it appears automatically in copy to / move to dropdown menu. Now I have to open that new folder after creation if I want to have it in copy to / move to dropdown list. It´s annoying 😞

In old version it wasn´t problem to directly drag and drop files from zip to bridge. Annoying because I have to open the destination folder in windows file explorer and drop the file and then return back to bridge 😞

I have tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling Bridge. Updating 12, 13, and downloading and trying the Beta. Resetting Bridge preferences. Clearing the Bridge Cache. Disabling the antivirus (and there is no VPN). Reinstalling my wifi adapter drivers. Buying and installing a new wifi network adapter. Using the creative cloud clean remove tool and following the guide to clean remove and reinstall creative cloud.  Looking for network issues on the (Windows 10) PC.  Uninstalling all unnecessary programs. Note: There are no networked drives listed under "My PC" from explorer and no other programs cause my internet to disconnect like Bridge does.  This has been happening for 5 days now or so and is consistent when opening Bridge.  Bridge does not cause the internet to disconnect ONLY if the "My PC" folder is not expanded, otherwise, when opened or when expanding the "My PC" folder, Bridge causes the internect to disconnect until Bridge is closed, when immediately the interne

Hello,  Bridge is running into two errors when processing exports: 1. Export appears to function normally and displays a converted file after processing on the Essentials tab (72 to 300ppi, changed dimensions, etc) but when I open the items in PS, the image is unchanged (72 ppi, same dimensions).  2. I am recieving the error message that PNGs, TIFFs and JPGs are "unsupported formats" I uninstalled v13.0.3, installed 13.0.2, reinstalled v13.0.3, purged the cache and reopened and it is still not functioning. Working on a Mac OS Monterey. Any insight is appreciated.

Bridge 2023 does not open at all. No further notice. Reinstalling even without the preferences doesn`t help.Any suggestions ??Thanks for your help !Stefan 

Do keywords applied in bridge translate to SEO keywords for google?Thanks

I've used this system for years, last week it worked fine, this week it's all jacked up.  I'd open an image using bridge into Camera Raw.  Do some light edits and then OPEN and would open the file into Photoshop.  Well it no longer does that, I hit open and it closes the CR edit page and does nothing else.  WTH did you change Adobe!  Stop screwing with people.  Any way to change this back?  I can use 2022 and it works fine, but now not 2023.  Oh and Photoshop '22 will not allow me to save into a standard JPEG, it keeps wanting to make it a JPEG 200 file.  Do better Adobe.  Any advice?  So Frustrating.
