Developing for Dayforce

Question

Has anyone developed SCORM courses for Dayforce? We are having issues with our SCORM packages that worked fine in Workday. There is no option for opening in a new window, so we're playing with the best size to develop. We're also having issues with completions and launching a second lesson. Just curious if anyone has worked with Dayforce as an LMS and has some best practices. Thanks.

I have not personally worked with the LMS you mention (Dayforce), however, if your SCORM packages play without issues in other SCORM compliant LMSs, then my suggestion is to get in touch with the technical support people behind your LMS and ask for assistance to resolve the incompatibilities. All LMSs have someone in their organisation that has technical knowledge of the SCORM standard and they should be able to tell you WHY your SCORM packages don't play nicely with their LMS.

In my 20+ years of experience with SCORM e-learning the issues are almost always due to the way the LMS has been programmed to interpret the SCORM standard's sometimes vague rules.

Try to get past the LMS Administrators and talk to the dude/s who programmed the thing.
