Multiple Captivate Quiz (Simulations) - individual scores and a total score slide

Hi

I have set up a course for medical staff where they watch a series of Demo videos, complete some try me simulations and then are directed to attempt the assessment.

The assessment consists of the completion of 4 mini simulations.

The SME would like each assessment simulation to report a score (e.g.4/10, 8/10, 10/10, 5/10)

Then have a total score to output on a results page once all are complete (e.g. 27/40  You have passed this module)

Is this even possible?  I can only get the 4 mini assessments to output into one final Results page i.e. the score out of 40…

Thank you

It is a SCORM requirement that each course can have only one score transferred to a LMS.

One solution would be to have the mini simulations in separate courses accessible from the main course and set up rules with the LMS itself. You could create a multiSco package, but I don't know how Moodle handles this.

Another possiblity is to store the individual sim scores in user variables and find a way to transfer the content of those variables to the LMS. Some LMSs have that feature by default, but not all. Have a look at this workflow in an older post:

Thanks for your advice.  Our "LMS" is currently Moodle and I have never used it before..so feeling nervous about this request.  A LOT of testing to be done.

Sorry that I cannot help more, have no experience with Moodle neither. Testing takes a lot of time, I mostly leave that to the clients. Did you find the blog post useful?
