My playbar is showing up ten seconds after the screen loads

Weird little glitch, and only in one project right now. Using current version of Cp 7 on Windows 7 professional, loading to Blackboard LMS. One project (77 slides) is opening fine, but the playbar (loaded as a separate skin - all of them are) is only appearing after the first slide is on screen for ten seconds. Any ideas? we checked all our project publish settings adn the skin editor - all the settings are the same as the rest of the lessons - this is the only one with this issue.

When you click on the button in Captivate, look under timing. Does it have "Appear after ____" set to a different number than the other slides? Have you looked at the timeline?

It's a captivate playbar not a button. Once it shows up it doesn't go

away again. It's even set up as publishing separate from the swf

What do you mean by "publishing separate from the swf"? Are you using a multi-sco course?

Have you tried replacing the first slide? Is it just a normal blank slide, or some other slide type? (For instance, the playbar could be set to hide during quiz slides.)
