Not tracking correctly when uploading to LMS

Hi All

 

I'm creating a captivate package. Within the package all seems to track correctly. When I export it as a SCORM I seem to have tracking issues within the LMS. I thought the LMS was the issue but if I alter settings in the main project it does affect the tracking. Any advice? Screenshots of my quiz settings attached

    OK.  That's what usually happens when you test Captivate content.

     

    So what this means now is that you need to go back to the people that make your usual LMS and request that they get their own technical people to investigate why the same module does not report correctly on their app.  You can tell them that you've found it works fine on SCORM Cloud.  


    Hi all I just thought I would update

     

    ALthough the Debugging didnt show anything in SCORM cloud etc - my LMS i am using appears to have an issue with the "Send interaction data on every slide" option. I did various tests and its now all up and working but was a mass process of elimination in the end

    Nothing seems wrong with the Settings in the screenshots.

    What exactly is going awry with the tracking? Did you check the same course in SCORM Cloud, which is the standard and would allow you ot see if the problems has to be looked for in Captivate or in the LMS itself.

    Did you check the total score possible in Advanced Interaction panel? Sure that is the expected maximum score?

    Can you please always mention the exact version you are using: full version number can be found under Help, About Captivate.

    I'm not able to publish to the Cloud due to security content of the course. 

     

    The F9 advanced interaction panel has the 6 questions I am tracking as the only quiz recorded interactions. Therefore if all 6 are answered correctly it should be 100%

     

    Appears that 1 of the questions each time isnt tracking -at least. I have set up random question slides from a question pool. 

     

    If I fail a question it tracks 83 percent which is correct - and will track all interactions. Yet if I get all questions right it still tracks 83% (I have tested this with multiple package attempts.) and does not track all interactions. 

     

    This is what I have seen from my testing so far.

     

    Anything under 100% produces the correct score in the LMS - if i get 100% in the Captivate it tracks as 83% in LMS

    Try at least Preview in SCORM Cloud.

    You didn't answer my question about the Total score, to be checked in Advanced Interaction panel (F9)?

    You gave some more details now. You have a results slide: did you delete any embedded object on that slide? An embedded object doesn't have an individual timeline, not in the results slide nor in its master slide. Especially the Continue button is very important, should never be deleted. Moreover it is a good practice to have at least one slides after the results slide because the Pass action (you have no Last attempt action since the attempts on quiz level are infinite) is executed at the last frame of the results slide.
