I installed Coldfusion on top of IIS on non-traditional port 8015. I installed a SSL Certificate and I can see the secure connection browsing to the IIS website on port 80, however, when I browse to the Coldfusion website on port 8015 I can not get a secure connection. It appears to me that Coldfusion doesn't know how to find the SSL Certificate or navigate the SSL connection. Do I need to tell Coldfusion or enable something to get the HTTPS working for Coldfusion on the non-traditional port?I'm Googling and researching and not finding much help online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ! I'm trying to set up a site in Dreamweaver. I have a domain connected to my static IP number with a hosting service. It is the testing server I can't get to work. All servers I use are on my computer such as IIS, SQL Server and Coldfusion 2016. I use Windows 7 Professional. Dreamweaver is the latest edition as I subscribe to Creative Cloud. I have created two folders on the C: drive named localfolder and testserverfolder and a folder in C:\inetpub\wwwroot called wwwfolder. I recently had to move from an older version of OS X server. There was issues with Timemachine so I decided to do a clean install.I am now running on El Capitan 10.11.6 and running OS X server 5.2 that includes Apache. After installing Coldfusion 2016 and accepting the default prompts I am unable to reach the admin panel. I was able to start Coldfusion from terminal but with errors. Is it possible that I chose the incorrect locations for the Apache files?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is it still possible to purchase support for ColdFusion 10 and then, optionally, purchase the extended support through May of 2019?Thanks,Dave

Hello,I have taken over a project and this project is setup that there is always a menu on the top of each html page.  This is fine but I wish to use ajax and if I call a page I want to get raw data passed back to me.  Unfortunately I get the template that has been setup ad the results buried inside.  How do I specify a call not to include all the default header information.  Is there some type of tag to state raw text is coming out, or anything similar.Thank you,Dave

All,I just received some news that has me, quite frankly, concerned.I was told that our intrusion detection guys started noticing a user agent string that is presenting itself as almost everything.. IE, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera.  These user agent strings were coming from inside, not outside, our network.After some thorough investigating, it was determined that the culprit was the Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10.  Apparently, Micro$oft is a little annoyed that developers have been setting different code for different browsers, so they (apparently) are presenting IE11 under Win10 as "everything".I find this more than just a little disturbing.I do know that you should write code based upon available elements instead of using browser detection, and that browser detection is generally frowned upon.  However, there are some things, especially some CSS, that are entirely browser dependent - not all browsers parse 100% of CSS exactly the same.  Some consider border

After server reboot sometimes cold fusion application services takes up to 24 hours to start.  I check with netstat -a -n -o and neither port 8500 or 8016 are listening.  inside the command prompt,  I run the cfstop and cfstart bat and the application starts but the services still say they are stopped or starting.When I try to manually start the cold fusion application in "services", I get an error message

Hi I face the following problems after upgrading from CF 7.0.2 to CF8 + Cumulative Hotfix 1 : - bold and underline generates white space around them if they are embedded in a sentence (i.e "this is <bold>bold text </bod> and it is fun") - font size behavior has changed, the text is now bigger. (My font-size: 12px is bigger than before) - when reducing it (i.e font-size: 11px) the bold/underline problem becomes the opposite : instead of white space, I have overlapping texts. We use a html 4.01 transitional doctype and CSS styles (i.e div class="myclass" and .myclass{..} in a separate css file) Any suggestion ?

I have been tasked with migrating an existing application from a version that is currently running on 2 web servers Microsoft cluster with a SQL DB. One is running a JRUN deployment version : C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion and the other is running ColdFusion, the application,and the MSSQL server.So now we are migrating to a redundant environment which includes 2 Kemp load balancers connected to 2 Cold Fusion servers (active/active) which connect to 2 SQL DB servers (always on, with replication). I have read the documentation but still have questions.Where do I start and what order do I deal with installations?I understand that I install CF on Server1 using the multiserver selection.What's next do I install CF on Server2?Then set up the SQL DBs.Do I setup the load balancing/cluster at the end?Do I need to do a Jrun version like the current setup?Does the application need to be on BOTH servers?Is there any CF documentation on this type of install ?2 web/cf servers2 sql dbs2 load balancersand h

We are currently on ColdFusion 10 Update 21 which I believe is current. I'm aware Version 10's Core Support ends May 16, 2017 and the End of Extended Support ends May 16, 2019. We do not currently have a support agreement with Adobe for ColdFusion but we do still get the Update Availability notifications in ColdFusion Administrator. Will these update availability's continue to show up in Administrator after the End of Core Support?Thanks,Dave

I have pulled all of the datatypes from a query to the database that equate to each variable pulled from the database.For example:2016-04-21 07:55:12.0, datetimeAtlanta, nvarcharI have users select the variable from a select box which also passes the datatype to the next page.So passed to the second page, for example are, StreetAddress and nvarchar.On the next page I want to validate in a cfinput, type = text, that the text entered is the database match for nvarchar (or int, datetime, varchar, etc)Is it possible to match exactly with the database or is my best bet just using the validate for integer and date, default char, as are available in the cfinput validate function?B.

I have indexed a collection with custom fields, one of which is for price, however though I have tried changing the schema.xml in the conf folder to an integer it resolutely remains in text format thus th results can not be order by price as it returns 101 and less than 11!Any help would be most welcome!

Hi Team, After upgrading to CF16, if we click on back button or history.go(1); it is showing the webpage expired error.some times it is coming due to  frames. but in CF 9 we didn't got this issue.After upgrading to CF16 we are facing the issue through out the application.Please get me out this issue.

In coldfusion-out.log I'm getting this message: Error [ajp-bio-8012-exec-3] - File not found:....The file in question does not exist. It has been deleted from the site structure for a while now.Why am I getting this message?

I can't find any relevant documentation for ACF Builder 2016.  Most of the content relates to previous versions and has not been updated.I need help setting up remote server. I am getting the error messages like this:[vm-web-cf]:Error(10/15 at 01:02:49) Cannot perform the operation. Admin server for the remote server vm-web-cf is not running.What is an Admin Server?  I can't find any material on how to configure or start an Admin server (The server is CF11).

Hello people, it was a hard title to choose, so I hope the one I created is clear, otherwise here I go:I have an application that emails customers using the <cfmail> tag.It works perfect from a desktop, not when I use the application on a mobile device (iPhone / iPad - haven't tried android).I am asking also to the hosting people to see if they see anything blocking email at the server level, but I was wondering if someone went through this before.Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if I explain this correctly but I want to do multiple cfhttp requests and then combine them into one cfset variable and just do one DeserializeJSON(variable). Is this possible? If so, how do I go about it?

Hello community, I have a situation that started to happen about a month ago and I'm not sure how to tackle it.Long time ago I have created a ticketing system while working as technical support for a kitchen commercial equipment company.It was my very first system. I had no idea about server configuration. I just installed CF9 on a Windows XP machine with a mySQL database.The system was running with the built-in CF server. There were only 5 users.Today, 12 years later, the system is being accessed by more than 25 users, running reports.Hardware has changed. The system is running on a i7 machine with 8GB of ram and Windows 7 Pro.However, it's still running (for the moment, soon to be changed to Apache server) on the built-in CF server.I would assume that if the problem is that it runs in the built-in server, it wouldn't fail from one day to another, but maybe I'm wrong.However, I will install Apache as a first step.Besides this, is there any "tuning up CF9 for production" guide for deve

Does the Addon service installer (CF11 version) work as a way to re-install the service in an existing CF11 install?  My Solr service is buggy and I want to reinstall it without reinstalling the whole CF11.  Can I just install to the same directory as the existing instance (/ColdFusion11/cfusion/jetty/)?
