I may be the only one in the world trying to run a Connect session on the OLPC XO, but I thought I would throw this out there. The OLPC XO is a Linux based laptop with minimal horsepower. I installed Flash 9.0.115.0 on it, and while Flash works, it is a little underpowered on the machine. Surprisingly, I can get a Connect session to work on it (as a client, not presentor). It allows me to choose the built in web cam, but I get a black screen in the video pod. When I select the Advanced settings of the webcam, it doesn't open up a dialog. I don't know how tuned to Connect is to Linux; are there any settings I can change perhaps to get this to work?

We have had someone leave our company. He had a full set of presenter pictures and names for people who developed and narrated Powerpoints that were saved with his Presenter 6. Is there anyway to copy or export those so that I have them available on my computer with Presenter? Thanks

Hi, I created an PDF form to post at the web, but for some reason when I finish to fill the field and close it, all my info still there. So what I would like is to make the PDF form clear/reset after the user close the form. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. M

I'm using Breeze 5. I have created and delete multiple share pods. Now when I go to the Pod menu and select Share, I see Share listed about 6 times. How can I delete that? I know when I upload multiple files in a share pod, I see the names of those files in the Share menu and I can delete them from the Content Library. But when they're just blank share pods, how can I delete them? Thanks.

I want to try to use connect to record video of an instructor to include in an online coures. I can record myself as the presenter, but I want to know if I can use it to record video of a participant? I looked in the documentation but couldn't find any info. Thanks, Annette

We currentlt have Breeze 5 and are using Presenter v 5.1. We are looking to upgrade to presenter 7. Are there any compatibility issues with Breeze 5 and Presenter 7?

For Connect/Breeze 5 and 6, our company had been granted access to the "Breeze Telephony Adapter Reference" and the "Telephony Adapter API". We used this to integrate our own teleconferencing product into a Connect licensed server. When I try calling support to ask about getting a new version of this for Connect Pro, they simply think I am just asking about conferencing. Our "Solution Partner" contacts do not seem able to get this information to us either. Is there any way to make contact on the development side to get this new updated information?

I've noticed that all video pods are now linked together. I have great need to have the pods be separate for each user. There must be a setting I'm missing somewhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is it possible for the Host of an Adobe Connect meeting to have the same view as the Participants. Meaning, I'd like my Powerpoint presentation in the Share Pod and also retain view of the Camera, Notes, Chat Pods while presenting. ie. that same view as the Participants.... Is this possible ? I saw it on the Intro video.... Andrew

I have a couple of questions... - Is it possible to view the Host and the Participants Webcam at the same time? - The video appeared somewhat laggy, when I compared to MegaMeeting, MegaMeeting's video appeared much smoother. Is there something which provides higher resolution video? Or is the video I have on there as good as it gets?

Creating word doc. to a PDF file and it stop converting in midstream. Stating that the adobe printer was unable to print filE. I'm using 6.0 professional

As the administrator, when I am in a meeting, I can add content to that meeting, but i want to be able add content to the Shared Content folder. When I try I get the error that "You do not have permission to perform this operation. Please contact the Account Administrator for assistance. I read that I need to be in the Author group to upload content? so in Administration: Users and Groups: I select my username, then hit the Information button, and then Edit Group Membership. the app shows I am a member of Administrator group. In the left hand column, I select Authors and hit the add button. I get error Operation Faile: Account Limit Reached? How do i get to upload content that can be shared across meetings? Keithmtx

Hi Can anyone help please. I have recently downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro for trial before buy and need some clarification ona point. When I export a document to word as a "WORD" document, it works fine but when I then open it up in WORD and look at it, i find the following: All text seems to have been exported to word and put into text boxes. Virtually every few lines is in a separate text box. this makes it very awkward when I need to do some editing in the "WORD" document. Is there any way that Adobe can export to "WORD" without putting the text into text boxes or is this the only way Adobe can handle the export. If it is then the I can't see how I can justify buying a product that only half does the job. I hope that I have explained the problem well enough and look forward to anyone coming up with a solution. Regards

I cannot find a simple "here are the differences" for the new version of Connect. I am upgrading to version 7 in a week or so, and still all I can find is marketing gibberish. The UI changed so drastically that my users are going to freak out unless I provide some documentation.

I have several questions regarding the offline (downloaded) recordings. 1. Any suggestions on how to edit a recording that has been downloaded? Seems like an additional program (like Adobe Media Player) is needed just to play the recording when is has been downloaded offline. 2. With that in mind, does that mean if I put the recording on a CD or non-Flash -based server that the end user will need to either download a player or have it on the cd to be installed? 3. Seems like most NLI editors won't recognize the offline (Including Adobe Premiere Pro) .flv file or isn't it a true .flv file? 4. Wasn't Presenter 7 suppose to be able convert files and why does it do such a poor job of allowing offline .flv file to be inserted into a PowerPoint? Thank you in advance

We're in the process of upgrading to Connect Professional. Something that was easy to do in Breeze now seems difficult, if not impossible. We have Adobe Connect Professional with the Events Management module, hosted on our server. Please help! We have a number of short webinars on our website that we would like users to be able to view on their own, without any interaction from an administrator. Users should be able to click on the link, go to the Connect registration form, register and fill out a form, and the presentation should start immediately. What's happening so far is that users can register, but then they get a message indicating "Your registration has been accepted and the administrator will be notified." Then nothing happens. I've turned off approval required after registration, but the training still doesn't occur on-demand. And the administrator (me) doesn't get any notification. What's up? We've never seen this problem before but when we playback our recorded Connect events the videos exceed the margins of the Internet Explorer window. I'm using IE7 and tested it in Firefox which has the same problem but then crashes before you can playback the video. I have clients complaining that they cannont see the entire window. We advised them to resize the left or right margins, but that makes the video smaller and sometimes unviewable. So the question is...during playback, the screen is supposed to fit without having to adjust the size of the window....right? At least that's what it did before.
