Students and Teachers free license OUTAGE

Does this link still work? (https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/) It says there is a service outage and I dont know if that means the website is not running anymore or not. If it is just an outage, how long will it be for me to be able to use that webpage again?

Hello,

I've been trying for 2 weeks to apply for the Free Substance 3D for Students and Teachers License (https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/) but it keeps saying "We are experiencing a service outage. The technical teams are working diligently on resolving the issue with the highest priority. Please check back later." is there any other way I could apply for this?

I wanted to get the 12-month free subcription for students, but the Adobe Website doesn't provide me access. There is a red bar in the way which say's "We are experiencing a service outage. The technical teams are working diligently on resolving the issue with the highest priority. Please check back later.".

 

However this didn't change for the last couple of days. When will this problem be solved?

Thanks for the question.

 

We know how much the educational license is appreciated and how this outage is bothering for the students who need it. Unfortunately, we had a few issues these past months with the licenses and trust me, it's better to freeze the subscriptions as long as this outage issue isn't solved.

 

I'll try to have more info on when this problem will be solved, but I can't make any promises.

It honestly sounds like the outage is fabricated simply to prevent new licenses being available to students. It is definitely quite convenient to blame it on "a few issues", and it definitely helps force people to buy it instead of getting it legally as a student. I suspect that the outage will never be solved, and that the education program will quietly be pulled.

I can get your frustration, but there's no plan behind this outage and trust me, our team is as angry at the situation as you are. We are still waiting for an ETA, but I'll share the info as soon as we have one to share!

 

Let's hope the problem will be solved soon.
