Cancellation Fee

Hi guys.

Really hate to do this, but I have to cancel my Photoshop. I used to pay on a monthly basis, but then I had to opt out due to financial issues, I am a student and dont make any income from Photoshop. I noticed that they were giving about three months free of charge, which led me to choose it.. However, I am now back to paying monthly after the three months, and am not presented with a free cancellation, though I've not voluntarily signed up for a yearly contract.

Anyone know how I can get around cancelling without having to cough out a hefty cancellation fee?

Any help will be thoroughly appreciated 🙂

Regards

Luke

The 3 free months is a retention incentive to keep you on as a subscriber.   Adobe doesn't need your permission to renew.  The TERMS you agreed to clearly state that annual plans automatically renew each year until you cancel.

To avoid penalty fees, wait until your 12th month of service to cancel.  Otherwise, you incur a 50% fee.  In other words, if you have 6 months of service remaining and you cancel today, you pay for 3 months.  It's still better than paying for 6 months, right?
