expired plan i guess

Question

Hello, back in 2020, i had bought creative cloud, specifically for photoshop im fairly certain, for school. Now back then i was on for learning, but because i didnt realize it could eventually expired, i hadnt gone back on to 'keep' my plan. i think i had missed the email at the time giving me the 3 month notice, so had never gone back on. Now though, i want to use again, but i need to buy a new plan. if neccessary, i'll buy photoshop again, but i had paid over 300$ cad for if before. i just dont want that money to have gone down the drain because i was apparently careless of its expiration. can it be renewed without paying a hefty price?

*now looking back, i do notice the service term for 1 year, but it hadnt been used almost that entire time. even just a few free months would help out a ton*

I think you are missing the point of subscriptions. "if neccessary, i'll buy photoshop again" Subscribe again "but i had paid over 300$ cad for if before" to subscribe for a period of time. At the end of the time, you don't own Photoshop, you either keep paying or it stops. "i just dont want that money to have gone down the drain because i was apparently careless of its expiration" The money was paid and you had the right to use Photoshop for that time. "can it be renewed without paying a hefty price?" There is no special hefty price. You pay the same as a new subscriber or someone who has subscribed for 8 years. (Student discounts only apply during the time you are a student, and never applied to Photoshop-only programs).
