Gifting Subscription Internationally

Hi!

my boyfriend has been wanting an adobe subscription for a while. But, he recently moved to Australia and I am in the US for the time being.

Does anyone know if I can buy a year subscription and then give it to him?

I know nothing about adobe, and I keep finding mixed answers.

you can purchase a prepaid adobe card from someone in another country, but do NOT.

there are (fine print) restrictions on the use of any adobe gift card you purchase. namely, the gift must be purchased by someone with an adobe id in the same country using the same currency and the same adobe store as the giftee.

both you and your boyfriend would be much better off if you reimbursed him for his subscription (which i know is problematic), or buy him something else.
