I Want A Refund On Adobe Subscription

I never thought I would have to use a messaging board to try and connect with someone who can actually help me. Anyways back in October I subscribed to Adobes 7-day free trial to edit a document for a scholarship. The day of, I cancelled that subscription so I would not be charged. A couple months later I look at my billing history on my credit card and see I have been charged $19.99. Apparently I have been getting charged for the past few months AFTER I canceled my 7-day free trial. This is absurd and I want a refund of the times I've been billed AND my subscription cancelled without the cancellation fee. I am a college student and am barely scraping by. The last thing I need is hundreds of dollars from my bank account gone over a program I used once. I find it very slimy for this company to do this and not even send an email letting me know that I am being billed, I am very unhappy about this.

If this has happened to you, don’t worry! Here’s what you can do next:

    1. Self-cancel via Adobe Account:

    • Go to Adobe Account.
    • Navigate to Plans > Manage Plan.
    • Select Cancel Plan and follow the prompts.

    2. Check Subscription Terms and Adobe's refund policy:

    • Adobe offers a 14-day full refund window from the beginning of the subscription trial.
    • After 14 days, the subscription continues until the end of the billing cycle, and refunds are not guaranteed.

    3. Check for Confirmation:

    • Always verify cancellation by checking your email or Adobe account for confirmation.

Only you can cancel. We can’t do it for you on this public forum.

You need to have a valid form of payment before you can cancel a subscription and get a refund.

Hello, I have been charged twice now in February and May for 29.99 each. I have not used the service. I thought I cancelled my subscription immediately after the trial, but it did not cancel. I am requesting a refund, immediately. I have just cancelled my account today. Please refund me.

I am writing to request an immediate refund for an unexpected charge that was automatically deducted from my payment method for an Adobe product subscription.
I was not aware that this charge would be made, and I have not been able to locate any receipt or confirmation for this transaction. Additionally, there is no record of this subscription appearing in my App Store purchase history, which makes it impossible for me to manage or cancel it through normal channels.
I am a student with very limited finances, and this unexpected deduction has placed a significant burden on me. Given that I have no visible record of this subscription and did not intentionally authorize this recurring charge, I believe I am entitled to a full refund.

    Hi @Lukass11,

I confirm a refund has been initiated by Adobe for the Adobe Express subscription which you cancelled today. Please wait for 12-14 days for the refund to process.

    Hi

I signed up for a 7-day free trial, used it once for a single PDF, and cancelled my subscription before the billing date, but money was still deducted from my account. Please check and process a refund if applicable

Hi there, I understand how frustrating this can be. I don’t see any purchases linked to the Adobe ID you’re using in the community. To get this sorted, I recommend reaching out to Adobe Support directly using the link: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. They’ll be best placed to help you resolve this.

Hope this helps, and feel free to update us here if you need anything else.

I signed up for a 7-day free trial, used it once for a single PDF, and cancelled the same day. Despite this, I was charged — which is completely unacceptable. I was promised a free trial and instead lost money I cannot afford to lose. I am requesting a full refund immediately. Please do not ignore this.

Hi there, I understand how confusing this can be. I can see that an Acrobat Premium subscription is active under the same Adobe ID used for this community. For any cancellation or refund questions, please refer to this article: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/ios/en/managingsubscriptions.html. It walks you through the steps clearly.

If you need help understanding any part of the process, feel free to ask. We’re here to help.
