I Want A Refund On Adobe Subscription

I never thought I would have to use a messaging board to try and connect with someone who can actually help me. Anyways back in October I subscribed to Adobes 7-day free trial to edit a document for a scholarship. The day of, I cancelled that subscription so I would not be charged. A couple months later I look at my billing history on my credit card and see I have been charged $19.99. Apparently I have been getting charged for the past few months AFTER I canceled my 7-day free trial. This is absurd and I want a refund of the times I've been billed AND my subscription cancelled without the cancellation fee. I am a college student and am barely scraping by. The last thing I need is hundreds of dollars from my bank account gone over a program I used once. I find it very slimy for this company to do this and not even send an email letting me know that I am being billed, I am very unhappy about this.

    Thread Summary

A user subscribed to a 7-day free trial and cancelled it the same day to avoid being charged. Despite the cancellation, the user was later charged repeatedly over several months on their credit card.

    • Rashmi (Community Manager) confirmed to a user that an active subscription was found under the account tied to the community post and pointed to the steps for cancelling a subscription and reviewing cancellation terms.
    • kglad (Community Expert) advised a similar user experiencing this issue to check their Adobe account to confirm whether the subscription still showed as active or cancelled, and separately noted that a subscription and its saved payment method can be removed entirely once no subscription remains.
    • Several commenters, including kglad, cautioned that if someone is contacted directly through email or private message claiming to help with a refund, this is very likely a scam rather than a legitimate Adobe representative, and recommended verifying any Adobe communication through an official adobe.com domain.

    Solutions suggested by Adobe

    1. Cancel your plan directly through your Adobe account by going to Plans, selecting Manage Plan for the subscription in question, and choosing Cancel Your Plan.

    2. Review Adobe's refund policy to check your eligibility — most plans qualify for a full refund if cancelled within 14 days of the initial purchase or trial start, while charges after that window generally are not refundable and may follow different cancellation terms depending on your plan type.

    3. After cancelling, check your email for a confirmation from Adobe or verify the cancellation status directly on your Adobe account plans page to make sure no active subscription remains.

    Hi Team,

I would like to kindly request a full refund and the immediate cancellation of my subscription.

    Here is my situation:

    1. I am a student, and I only signed up for this trial to complete a quick assignment for my school project. I only used the software for one single day.

    2. I was under the impression that it was a 1-month free trial, but I was suddenly charged after just 1 week.

    3. My payment method (TnG Wallet) only had RM20, which was deducted, leaving an unpaid balance of around RM85 on my account.

    4. Due to this pending balance, the system prevents me from manually cancelling the plan under "Manage Plan".

As a student with limited financial means, I cannot afford this unexpected plan. I kindly ask for your help to:

    • Waive/clear the unpaid balance of RM85

    • Refund the RM20 that was charged

    • Cancel my subscription completely

Thank you so much for your understanding and help!

Please update your payment details by following the steps in this link. Once the payment information has been updated successfully, you should be able to proceed with canceling your subscription.

If you run into any issues or need additional help, please let us know. We're here to support you.

    Thanks

    Salam👋🏽,

Semoga Anda baik-baik saja.

I hope you're well. I have been subscribed to Adobe Podcast and it has been charging me every month on the 25th. This upcoming month I will not be needing it. I canceled today after being charged. It says that i will still have access to the service until 25 August however I would like a refund instead. Is it possible to get a refund?

I had subscribed to a one month free trial for adobe podcast, and I didn't realize my free trial was already over, it turns out that my payment method wasn't processing through before because my payment account had no money in it, i wasn't aware of that fact because my email is no longer working because of full storage. 2 days ago, my payment account had money and adobe automatically deducted from it, can you confirm if i can get a refund?

In June 2025 I trialled Adobe (£19.97pcm) however cancelled trial within 14days but I am still being billed £4.98 monthly I have just discovered.

I require a full refund for the last 12 months (£59.76) as I have never received an invoice and I believed I had cancelled all payments when I cancelled the trial.
