I Want A Refund On Adobe Subscription

I never thought I would have to use a messaging board to try and connect with someone who can actually help me. Anyways back in October I subscribed to Adobes 7-day free trial to edit a document for a scholarship. The day of, I cancelled that subscription so I would not be charged. A couple months later I look at my billing history on my credit card and see I have been charged $19.99. Apparently I have been getting charged for the past few months AFTER I canceled my 7-day free trial. This is absurd and I want a refund of the times I've been billed AND my subscription cancelled without the cancellation fee. I am a college student and am barely scraping by. The last thing I need is hundreds of dollars from my bank account gone over a program I used once. I find it very slimy for this company to do this and not even send an email letting me know that I am being billed, I am very unhappy about this.

If this has happened to you, don’t worry! Here’s what you can do next:

    1. Self-cancel via Adobe Account:

    • Go to Adobe Account.
    • Navigate to Plans > Manage Plan.
    • Select Cancel Plan and follow the prompts.

    2. Check Subscription Terms and Adobe's refund policy:

    • Adobe offers a 14-day full refund window from the beginning of the subscription trial.
    • After 14 days, the subscription continues until the end of the billing cycle, and refunds are not guaranteed.

    3. Check for Confirmation:

    • Always verify cancellation by checking your email or Adobe account for confirmation.

I had subscribed to a one month free trial for adobe podcast, and I didn't realize my free trial was already over, it turns out that my payment method wasn't processing through before because my payment account had no money in it, i wasn't aware of that fact because my email is no longer working because of full storage. 2 days ago, my payment account had money and adobe automatically deducted from it, can you confirm if i can get a refund?

In June 2025 I trialled Adobe (£19.97pcm) however cancelled trial within 14days but I am still being billed £4.98 monthly I have just discovered.

I require a full refund for the last 12 months (£59.76) as I have never received an invoice and I believed I had cancelled all payments when I cancelled the trial.

If cancelled properly and if you are entitled to a refund, it will be issued within 14 days.

    Hi there,

I confirm that Adobe has initiated a refund to your bank account. It may take 12-14 days for the refund to get processed. We appreciate your patience.

    Hi Mam,

Can you also check my account to make sure a refund was initiated? I just cancelled today.

I canceled Adobe Stock and Creative last night well in advance of the renewal date.  This morning I woke up and Adobe charged me over $100 dollars.  I have no order # to chase this back to so I’m sitting here deciding out to proceed.  I used Adobe for school but the semester ended so I don’t want to pay if/when I’m not using it.

Not going to lie, I’ve seen nothing but borderline sketchy business behavior from Adobe and this experience (unless it can be corrected in a timely manner) will be the reason I boycott and never use a paid Adobe service again.

    TLDR: total nightmare

does your account ( https://account.adobe.com ) show any subscriptions?

No.  If you read my post, I had mentioned that I cancelled my subscriptions well in advance of the renewal date.  The following morning I was charged well over $100 with no email receipt.  Even if those subscriptions had not been canceled, they still wouldn’t have added up to $100.

    @Zekkee30

no one can cancel for you. you must cancel your own subscription and you must cancel your subscription within the refund period in order to receive a refund.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", you probably have a payment error that you need to repair before cancellation is allowed, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

refunds are automatic if you cancelled during the cancellation period and take up to 14 days to complete.  meanwhile, check your account and confirm you have no subscriptions, https://account.adobe.com

The current subscription plan was cancelled already. However, there’s this one a suspended plan that I cannot cancel. Do you think it will affect the refund process?

Hello, I also have this exact problem word for word. I do not want to pay for a service I only used once for a college application. Please give me my refund. I do not want you to explain the 14 days refund from initial subscription because like some other people here, we are charged after cancelling or forgot to cancel it — and we barely use the service!

I have cancelled my plan but I still have to pay the few months I didn't even use the app.
