there is no automatic cancellation.  you needed to explicitly cancel during your trial period per https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

also note the penalty for terminating an annual subscription prior to the end of the one year term.

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

Hello, I need your help please. Could you check if all the programs are fully canceled? On Thursday I canceled them, and that same day I paid almost $112. Now I just received a message saying that I’m being charged $130. Please remove everything or cancel everything for me, and also delete all my credit cards from your system.

you can check yourself.  check your account, https://account.adobe.com

what's it show?

eg, any payment problems,?
more than one subscription?
only the plan(s) you want?

Hi @maria_andrea_7612,

We appreciate you reaching out. I looked into your account details and found that you have an active plan for Adobe Indesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop.

Did you follow the steps listed here: https://adobe.ly/4pIVFBg

The subscription has been cancelled for renewal which means it will continue this term (annual or monthly). Did you receive any confirmation email for the cancellation?

Could you share a screenshot? We'll look into the details.

Hola, me encuentro en la misma situación. ¿Conseguiste cancelar sin que te cobraran la tasa esa? Si fuese el caso, me vendría muy bien que me dijeras cómo lo hiciste.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

Hi Andrea,

We checked your account info. You have an active subscription since last 1 month and 10days. Trial needs to be cancelled by the user on 7th day to avoid getting charged. If the user forgets to cancel and gets charged then refund can be initiated after cancelling the service within 14days.

As @kglad mentioned above, you may need to go through the cancellation terms and conditions before proceeding through it.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Shivangi

Adobe does not track the app usage as such so one gets charged even if you use or don't use the applications. However, you can talk to Adobe support and let them know your situation, if convinced they can wave off the cancellation fee for you. To contact support follow the instructions given below
1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. Wait a bit on the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that does not happen then look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right, click over it and the chat popup should open
3. In order to talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

P.S. Be mindful of answering anyone who sends you a private message. See the following for more information about scammers
