I need to talk to an agent to reset my activation count as my laptop has crashed and I cannot de-activate the serial number from that laptop

    no one on adobe’s end can reset your activation count.  that ended many months ago.

    now the only way to regain an activation count is to use a computer that has a current activation AND that meets adobe’s security requirements.  see https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/activation-limit-reached-for-non-subscription-adobe-desktop-applications/td-p/14804413?linkId=100000376554410 for more info.

    Hi @MarioBLeRoux

    After checking your account, we can confirm that the software license is available under your account. However, it appears that the maximum number of allowed activations has been reached.
    As suggested @kglad , please refer to the following article for steps to resolve the issue:

    Have you tried contacting their support team directly? They should be able to reset the activation count since your laptop crashed and you can’t deactivate the serial number yourself. 👍

    @caring_codeef8a

    Adobe support no longer is able to do that.
