CCLibrary.app Damaged

Just got a mac Studio with Apple2Max chip and macOS Sonoma. Used migration assistant to copy files to new mac but after updating Photoshop I get a message "CCLibrary.app is damaged and can't be opened" when I launceh Photoshop. Clicking OK closes the message window but it immediately pops up again.

I have tried the Repair option for Creative Cloud app but that has not fixed the issue. If I close Photoshop the message goes away and it does not appear if I have Lightroom open, only if Photoshop is open.

Any ideas?

I can confirm this, as I just encountered this same dumb/annoying issue last week. I tried the uninstall re-install and that only worked for about 2-3 days before the pop-up alert with the "damaged" message for the CCLibrary appeared again.

Tried to search for solutions again and dug a little deeper this time, then I found the suggestion for going into the Privacy & Security where, if you scroll all the way down, you'll see a little message about the app, and while it looks sketchy you just need to give it full access, confirm with your system password and the problem goes away.

At least for now...

My solution was disturbingly simple: I just had to allow permission under Settings - Privacy & Security for Creative Cloud library and the problem went away.

@sethr39241257

thanks for that.

for others, never use migration assistant with adobe apps.  properly uninstall adobe from the old computer, migrate, then properly install adobe apps onto the new computer.

Thanks Ged. Unfortunately that did not help. I got a message that the CCLibries file I downloaded was corrupt. Tried the second solution but that deleted the CCDesktop app. I downloaded a new copy of the Desktop app and reinstalled all the programs in my plan. Still not working.

Found another solution from several other posts where Settings>Privacy & Security reported that the file CCLibrary.app had been blocked as it was downloaded from an unidentified Developer. Clicked the Open Anyway button and problem resolved.

Thanks for your help
