Adobe badly interfers with CPU and RAM

So months back i downloaded adobe to use premier pro to do some video editing. But there was this time where I had to install creative cloud to use it and the creative cloud running in my background was badly interfering with my gaming laptop whenever i tried to run graphic heavy games. I dont know if anyone else had this issue but is there a way to stop adobe from running in the background. I want to get premiere pro again and do some video editing
