Question

Adobe for ChatGPT is visible and recognized in ChatGPT, but every Adobe tool fails with HTTP 403 FORBIDDEN at the MCP connection stage, even after reconnecting the plugin and re-authenticating my Adobe account.

Hello Adobe Support,

I’m experiencing a connection issue with Adobe for ChatGPT.

The Adobe plugin itself is visible and recognized in ChatGPT, and the available Adobe tools can be detected. However, whenever I try to use any Adobe function, the connection fails before the tool can actually run.

The error I receive is:

McpServerError: MCP streamable transport probe failed with HTTP 403 from adobe.io

HTTP status:
403 FORBIDDEN

Endpoint:
https://photoshop-mcp-service.adobe.io/...

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

- Confirmed that I am signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app
- Disconnected and reconnected the Adobe plugin
- Re-authenticated my Adobe account
- Restarted ChatGPT / Codex
- Explicitly invoked Adobe using @Adobe
- Tested again while Creative Cloud was signed in
- Confirmed that launching Premiere Pro does not change the result

The behavior is always the same: ChatGPT can detect the Adobe plugin and its available tools, but the connection is rejected at the Adobe MCP service stage with HTTP 403 before any Adobe function can be executed.

My environment:
- macOS Tahoe 26.x
- Creative Cloud desktop app: signed in
- Adobe for ChatGPT plugin
- Tested in ChatGPT / Codex

Could you please confirm whether there is a known issue with Adobe for ChatGPT MCP authentication or access permissions?

If there are any account-side settings, permissions, entitlements, or features that need to be enabled, please let me know.

Thank you for your assistance.
