Adobe portfolio buttons not saving text styles

I've created several button modules on my Adobe Portfolio site, but they dont appear to save the text color. I have an orange button and would like to apply some white text, but whenever I change them and save they revert back to black.

I clicked button > edit button > normal > text > white. This changes the button temporarily, and the change even sometimes shows up after I've saved, but as soon as I close the page and return to the portfolio it turns back to black.

Me too! I've found that it doesn't save on the editor - I'll save/publish, go to check it and it's fine, but the buttons which were previously correct with the hover have reverted back to all black all the time. I don't understand it, I've tried everything 😕😕

Hey! I'm having the same issue - I have black buttons that hover blue, but every time I edit it, it reverts to all black. Did you ever find a fix?

Did you Publish site and test with a different browser?

Try clearing your browser's cached data and history.

Edit Button Colors for Normal and Hover.

Update Live Site.

Use another browser to test.  Or clear your browser's history and data cache.

Hi Nancy,

I've folllowed all the steps you mentioned but it doesn't appear to solve my problem. Any change to the button text color on normal and hover seems to be temporary. It shows up as white for a while (on different browsers) but eventually reverts back to black.

Could this be a bug?

CSS has 6 pseudo-classes:

a = all links

link = unvisited links

visited = after it is visited in a browser

hover = on mouse over

active = on click

focus = the current active link reached with mouse, scroll or tab key.

Black is probably the default visited link style which is why you don't see it initially.  This is perfectly normal and expected browser behavior.  If you clear your browser's history & cached data, all links will revert to your site's unvisited link style.

Thanks, but I've already looked through this but it doesn't solve my problem. There's no specific forum here for Adobe Portfolio and moderators in the past have put my posts in this forum which I why I'm putting it here : )
