Adobe Sketch on iPad: app closing when transforming layer

Hi i started using adobe for a while now and ive run into a unique problem, i am using the free 4.9.6 version of adobe sketch on a tablet and everything works fine except when i go to edit a layer to transform it or make it into a sketch layer it kicks me out of the app instead, is there something im doing wrong? ive shut down my ipad and turned it on but that didnt work either, i really need help with this

There doesn't seem to be a forum for Sketch, so lets put this in Creative Cloud Services.

Where to find what? The Creative Cloud Services forum? It's listed on the front page of the Adobe Support Community. If you look to the left you'll see a box labled Sort that you can choose alphabetical order from. Makes it easier to find the communities. Or you can click the link I just gave you.
