Question

CC Sync folders now contain a file called 'Icon?'

Since upgrading to MacOS Ventura 13.0.1, myself and colleagues have noticed small unix files appearing in our CC Sync folders. It's really untidy.

Is there any explaination for this?

What are they and can they be safely deleted?

It seems that my issues may have stemmed from using Adobe Sync on an external harddrive. This is not supported.

As such - Adobe no longer works for us as a team. We experienced this:

We have moved to using Google Drive.

for others,

adobe cloud storage is not and never was intended to backup files or as file storage.  it's for file sharing (with others and with yourself on other devices).

if you want to use cloud storage to store or back up files, use another service (eg, google, onedrive, dropbox etc)
