CoreSync stealing battery power

Adobe CoreSync is running tens of processes on my MacBook Air (M1) running macOS Big Sur v. 11.3.1.

I have disabled auto-update and disabled cloud synchronization. Removed CoreSync from startup. Rebooted my computer.

No matter what I do, CoreSync keeps stealing resources and getting listed as the #1 most battery-draining application.

It seems to happen all the time, even when I have not used any Adobe-programs.

Is there a way to install Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat without using CC?

Is there a way to disable CoreSync?

Unfortunately we have to stop using Adobe products if this cannot be resolved.

The conclusion from the linked support article seems to be that there is no solution. Core Sync has "an important role" (even if you don't wish to sync anything), and if this is a bug, it sure has been there for quite some time.

Our conclusion is to look for alternatives to Adobe CC.
