Downgraded to [Creative Cloud Express] Standard from Premium??

Hey guys. I've received this weird email from Adobe saying I've been changed from Creative Cloud Premium to Standard but will pay the same. I'm on the photography plan.

I have two questions.

1. WTF

2. What is the real life difference? I've tried searching over and over but it seems Adobe don't actually want any side by side comparisons as it's easier to deliberately confuse their customers.

The link in the email explains nothing at all.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

"There will be some changes to the apps included in your subscription when you renew. Your current subscription includes the premium version of Creative Cloud Express. However, upon renewal, your subscription will be revised to the starter version of Creative Cloud Express. You will continue to have access to the other apps and services that are part of your subscription. The starter version of Creative Cloud Express still enables you to create graphics, photos, and videos, and access hundreds of thousands of Adobe Stock free collection photos. You can learn more about the starter and premium versions of Creative Cloud Express here <link>.

The change only effects former Adobe Spark users.  If you never used Spark or its related services, you can safely ignore the notice.

Excellent thank you so much. What was saying them from simply saying this!!?

Seems Adobe could be a little more clear in what's happening. Not everyone has initiate knowledge of all names and bundles.

Cheers guys.

To be clear, the email relates to a new Adobe product called Creative Cloud Express (it was destined to confuse) which is included in your Photography Plan. Not the entire Creative Cloud.

Yes, it's confused a few people. Adobe could have worded it more clearly.

See https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/plan-changing-to-creative-cloud-express/m-p/12884657

What Adobe is trying to say is that your Photography plan remains exactly the same apart from one bundled app, which is included in your plan: Creative Cloud Express. That app alone will change from the previously included Premium version to the Starter version.

If you don't use Creative Cloud Express then the change won't affect you at all.
