Linking domain to portfolio

Question

Hello,

I just purchased a domain through Portfolio through the linked NameCheap website. Then, when I went to link it to my site, it said it was already linekd to another adobe portfolio site...is this a glitch? why would I be able to purchase the domain if it was already linked to another site? I'm confused.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

@eawood_,Isn't your Namecheap purchased domain automatically connected to your newly created Portfolio site?See below for more details. https://help.myportfolio.com/hc/articles/360037978074-Buying-a-custom-domain-name-through-Adobe-Portfolio-powered-by-Namecheap- If you continue to have domain name problems, reach out directly to Namecheap.  In my experience, their customer service is quick to respond.support@namecheap.com.
