Hi I saw that adobe muse was no longer working I uninstalled it, then I went to adobe creative to reinstall it but it is no longer there. Now I can no longer update my site. Do you have a solution?

@Antonio Stavola

in your cc desktop app preferences, do you have show older versions enabled?

Hello,

I have a new problem. When I launch Muse, now it tells me that the trial version has expired 😞 I have a Creative Cloud Account. And when I try to connect to my Creative Cloud Account, it tells me that there is no account connected.

Any idea ?

these are the fixes for subscriptions that revert to trials:

start here - https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html

if that fails, proceed to these steps - https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/resolve-trial-and-license-expired-errors.html

if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/adobe-license-issues-keychain-credential-mgr.html

below are solutions some users reported:

if those all fail, change your cc language. eg, try international english - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-trial-mode.html

if that fails, change the install location

I tried everything, nothing works 😞

The problem is only on Muse. All the other app launches.

Dave , Your are a Genius!!!! Saved my life here. Been using this since 2018 and got the January Adobe Surprise. There is nothing out there like this for those of us who are not interested in code and are visual people. I would really like to know what adding the SSS to the name did to make it work if you get a chance. Bless you my son! Dana

Thanks, but please don't thank me, thank @santiago p as they're the ones that found the fix!

Adding the SSS does not in itself fix the problem. What matters is changing the name of the file so that the software no longer recognises it and therefore cannot use it. Any change to the filename will have the same result.

Cheers, Dave.

good to hear!.

@Kopo2022

another work-around is to shut-down adobe processes and then start muse, https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/muse-not-running-after-creative-cloud-desktop-app-update/td-p/14311465/page/2#M49358

another is: I went to the app directory using the Windows Start menu via Settings. There I selected the Adobe Creative Cloud app, clicked on the app with the left mouse button, then selected “Uninstall”. After a short time a new dialog appeared in which I had the option to click on "Repair". I did this and immediately clicked on the Muse program icon right after clicking the “Repair button”.

For me, on Windows 11, it doesn't work. Does anyone know another forum where to look for a solution? Thank you.

i think the other work-arounds are in a large thread in the cc desktop forum.
